Great service, comfortable room, wonderful location, and reasonably priced. Room was very well lit, with very effective bedside reading lights. On the other hand, once the lights were out, this was the first truly dark room I've found in a hotel--great for sleeping! Heating was easy to control. Bathroom was roomy and well supplied except for paper goods (when we...

30 minutes from Geneve, an hour from the Mont Blanc tunnel, 90 minutes from Lyon, on the French part of Lac Leman. Cosy wooden hotel by the lake, where my wife and me were given a huge warm room with a king size bed. Tiny SPA in the basement with free access for the hotel guests, and accessory beauty treatments....

We stayed two nights at Villa Cecile in Yvoire ahead of a business engagement in Geneva. IT WAS JUST PERFECT. A cute little hotel (only 10-15 rooms) with a nice garden, within walking distance from the medieval village. Service was friendly and effective. I travel a lot and stay over 100 nights/year in hotels. Most "boutique" hotels just put the...

We had a three night break here to celibrate my parents golden wedding anniversary. There were 8 of across 3 generations. We all had a wonderful stay. We enjoyed walking into town, lazing by the pool and trips further afield. But the high light every day was the evening meal by the pool. The service was good humoured and accomodating....

This place is not cheap, but delivers in every respect. Well - sited, a couple of hundred yards from the old town and close to the lake. The rooms are well proportioned and nicely decorated and there is a spa you can use as a guest. The food is absolutely amazing ! Beautifully presented and interesting choices. The staff are...

We stayed here 4 nights in July 2013. The location close to the center yet outside of yvoire is perfect. The hotel is modern, clean and packed with amenities. The service although nice is a bit "dry" and we found the price a little bit hefty when compared to similar hotels in the same region.

OK, so its a bit of a schlep from Geneva but its worth it when you arrive. Lovely oasis of calm with beautiful wooden clad rooms that remind me of barbados or new england. The village is on the shores of the lake and you can eat the local speciality (Perch) looking out across the water. I relaxed with my...

I had a business trip to Geneva (by car) and only booked this hotel the same week as the three night stay. Hotels in Geneva were crazy expensive, and the usual immediate "cross border" hotels in France were either full, or not located where I would choose. So I widened the search and found Yvoire, which is about 15 kms...

We stayed at Villa Cecile for three nights at the beginning of June. The hotel is lovely, very clean with a relaxed ambience. The staff were all great, friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We had a fabulous room overlooking the pool which was very comfortable and nicely decorated. The pool area and gardens are also super and very well...

Wonderful hotel but what really stood out was the staff. We had a room facing the swimming pool, clean and peaceful. However, the wifi was unstable and kept getting disconnected. The receptionist was also very helpful in helping us books restaurants. Food in the restaurant was acceptable. More of a relaxing placer rathe than a gourmet destination.

“The rooms facing the lake while facing north-east are great in the spring. Last time, at the end of May, we had a room facing west over the pool and it was great. Choose the 2nd or 3rd floor. They have an elevator. Outdoor parking is free and they're also a secured parking lot for a mere fee.”
