a large popular restaurant on the lake. the special local fish and chips is a local fish (carp) large portions dont have a starter. very nice .good service. reasonable. nice views. the town is a bit touristy but lots of shops and pretty gardens and houses makes an interesting day or afternoon. we didnt actually stay in the hotel so cant comment on the hotel itself.
The hotel is a the bottom of a steep hill so not great for those with mobility issues. As it was the height of summer they had made the town pedestrian only which didn't help us with two large bags and a wife using a walking stick. However when we got to the hotel a very kind member of staff took my car and parked it in their garage some distance from the hotel. Bless you. Our room #6 was on the top floor with a lovely window box lined terrace overlooking the port. Wonderful views of the sailing ships coming into the marina. The room is elegant with high quality linen and a very comfortable bed. The staff were so kind and fed us gin and tonic as we recovered from the trauma of arriving and getting our cases down the steep hill. Have I mentioned the hill before? Even though the hotel is small (7 rooms) the restaurant is much larger with an open terrace overlooking the water. The food is good but with quite large portions so bring your appetite. My wife's Chateaubriand was huge and my Fillet de Veau almost as large. Good food with friendly and efficient service. When we left, a saint in staff uniform brought our car down through the village to the hotel so we could drive out. Without his kindness we might have been stuck there forever. I can think of far worse faites. Highly recommended.…
Amazing place. Breathtaking view on the lake. The good was exceptionally good with the cod fish and the butter sauce. I honestly recommend the restaurant. It is a must try definitely. It is an experience to remember.
A lovely hotel overlooking the lake. The room was large comfortable, plenty of storage. The bed was comfortable. The furnishings stylish. The bathroom clean and modern with an excellent shower. Supplies nice bathroom cosmetics. Has tv and free Wi-fi. Tea and coffee making facilities. The breakfast was pre order the night before, cooked well and presented well. The staff are very friendly. Has a small safe in the room and a portable ironing board but no iron
Enjoyed a very tasty perch fillet, the house speciality of this restaurant placed ideally on the shore of Lake Leman. The 70 tear old owner told us stories of the famous people whom he had as guests during the years.
