Quiet, human-sized hotel with an excellent location and above all a breathtaking view of the magnificent Lake Maggiore. About 20 minutes by car from Stresa where the boats are located to visit the Borromean Islands. Spacious room with all the amenities necessary for a flawless stay. It’s a detail for some but having a magnifying mirror, a mini bar, a large desk and tissues are a real plus! The room had a small private terrace which opened directly onto the large terrace where the swimming pool and deckchairs were located. The staff is attentive and gives very good advice. Points of attention: no room service and no dinner in the evening.

Hotel Bel Sit is located in a small town right next to Lake Maggiore. We had a superior double room with lake view with a nice little terrace and the ability to walk right out to the larger terrace with sun lounges. Beautiful view and the room was very spacious. Breakfast was plentiful and you could sit outside and enjoy it. There is also the option of some snacks during the day, but there is no evening service. There are not a lot of restaurants in walking distance, but we were only there for 2 nights, so we managed. It is a very quiet setting, perfect for relaxation as there is not a lot to do. The hotel has a small parking garage which does not cost extra. Would definitely recommend for a short quiet break or as part of a road trip in the northern part of Italy as we did.

Idyllic setting, warm welcome, spacious room very well equipped and very clean. Very quiet environment with stunning views of the lake. Very competent and helpful staff. This is the second time we have stayed in this hotel. Last year in a regular room and this year in one of the suites. Both great! The hotel is wonderful; the rooms are comfortable and clean, overlook the beautiful lake. Breakfast is lovely, great restaurant for lunch if wanting something simple, no dinner is offered but great places to eat nearby. Bar available all the time. The hotel is right over the lake, the water perfect for swimming. The area is perfect for traveling and only 45 minutes from the airport.

We stayed for 2 nights for a Maserati car rally and it's easy to understand why they have 5 star reviews I can't find any flaws so there's no point in writing the merits because in my opinion they have everything you need!! We payed around 80 EUR for the taxi, which took around 40 minutes.
The alternative was taking the train, which would take around 2½ hours and cost around 15-20 EUR for 2 ppl if i remember correctly
