In a peaceful setting in one of the most beautiful parts of Italy, just minutes from the world-famous resort of Bellagio, is located in the nearby Lezzeno, Bed and Breakfast " Nest on the lake." This architectural complex, dating from the beginning of 1800,completely renovated in 2010, is directly in front of the lovely lake of Como, and precisely opposite to the picturesque Island Comacina, and thefamous Villa Balbianello and other beautiful villas including the VillaBalbiano and Villa Cassinella. Both the apartment, located on the ground floor, and the rooms on the first floor, have their own independent entrance, and are elegantly furnished with comfortable and modern furnishings which harmoniously blend with the local setting. The rooms boast elegant wooden flooring, which further contribute to the warm, and romantic atmosphere. The ground floor also houses the breakfast room which features visible local stone walls, as well as a huge and imposing fireplace which has been fully restored in ancient style and which dominates the environment. The furnishings also include a series of ancient artefacts handed down through the generations and which contribute to recreate a magical atmosphere of past times. All units are overlooking the lake and are equipped with pretty balconies on which you can sit back and enjoy a drink and the lovely views and magical sunsets that the lake offers. Access to the beach is possible directly from the Bed & Breakfast, where guests can soak up the sun, or make use of the canoes which are at the disposal of our guests in order to enjoy our wonderful lake to the full. We can also offer a series of optional services on request such as airport/station transfers, or organized tours of the local area or mountain excursions. We are committed to making every effort to ensure that your stay will be truly unforgettable.
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
Nest on the Lake is a magical place. Calm and inviting, it is perfectly what Lake Como is supposed to be, a place to unwind and rejuvenate, yet steeped in history and culture. The village of Lezzeno is small, quaint and removed from the hustle of other places around the Lake. There are four or five amazing restaurants in the village that will satisfy the most discerning epicurean. Nest on the Lake is situated in the host, Costantino's generational family home reaching back over 250 years. It is right on the banks of the lake where the water lulls you with it's rhythmic lapping sounds. Costantino and his wife Raffaella are wonderful. They look after you in every way, providing suggestions and tips on how and where to get the most of your time and experience around Como. The rooms and comforts are excellent. Large bedrooms with ensuites and a private balcony that looks over the lake. Rarely do we want to stay in the room, but here it was such a relaxing place to be, to sit and sip local wines, eat wonderful cheese and just watch the old men fishing on the lake. The breakfast spread was out of this world with fresh fruits, nuts, cereals, hot food, cold foods, juices, and lots of other varieties to satisfy the palate and to start the day. The beauty and bustle of Bellagio is only a 5 minute drive in one direction and the gothic village of Nesso is only a 5 minute drive in the other. The ferry terminal to see the rest of the lake is about a five minute walk, so you can go and see whatever you want, and always come home to paradise which is Nest on the Lake in Lezzeno.

This was the second time we booked our vacation at the Nest on the Lake and the second time it was perfect! And this year we also brought our 3 year old along who also had a blast.
Location and appartmant both are beautiful. It's right at the lake with a semi private beach. The appartment is furnished like a modern appartment with dishwasher, fridge and freezer. The only downside is that there's only a mobile AC unit in the bedroom so you can't cool off the entire appartment. There's a fan for the living room tho.
Breakfast is good as well. Fruits, yoghurt, juices, tea, coffee and some sweets. The owner was very helpful and friendly. For instance when we thought the mobile AC didn't cool enough, he switched it around with the one from his office so we had a cool bedroom to sleep in. He also gave some tips on where to go and what to see.
The position of the B&B in Lezenno is also perfect with 3 nice restaurants within walking distance and a small supermarket. And Belagio is only a 15 minute drive away for the bigger supermarkets and ferry's around the lake.

Except for the name that could be Italian 😄, everything else is divine!!! Beautiful place with a descent to the lake, although the beach is public, it is quiet and very comfortable. Surrounded by vegetation, the room is spacious, comfortable and with everything you need, as well as the bathroom and a balcony with an AMAZING VIEW! Good cleaning, complete and quality breakfast. It is located in a quieter town for tourism, well connected to both the ferry and the bus to visit the rest and has a couple of very nice restaurants nearby where you can eat well. I highlight the attention of Constantino and his wife, ready at all times, I celebrated my birthday there and received a surprise gift from my country and they were in all the details to make it happen, they also got us a taxi to continue the trip, so I am grateful for the good attention and kindness. Highly recommended!

We stayed at this hidden gem a few days prior to our sons wedding nearby and wished we had more time there. The family owners set up transport from MXP which was a huge relief after a long flight “across the pond”. Our room with spectacular views from the living area and the bedroom was clean, well equipped and comfortable. The owners were welcoming and full of great suggestions for meals and activities. The morning breakfast was nice blend of food and beverage choices with options to eat in the quaint indoors or on the cozy patio both looking out on the lake. We met a couple who had stayed several times at The Nest and a first time couple as us and we all couldn’t say enough wonderful comments about the Nest and it’s most accommodating owners. Until we meet again, thank you!

Myself, my two sisters plus our respective families (10 of us in total) chose Nest on the Lake for a week-long get together in the summer, and what a gem we found.
Having the family apartment as well as some rooms gave us the combination of communal and private space. The family room was great too, since it gave us two bedrooms sharing a bathroom but separated by a connecting corridor. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic. Being right on the beach was so great, whether to use the available kayaks, sunbathe on thr loungers or just to cool off in the lake after a day's sightseeing
Some evenings we'd cook in the kitchen. Other nights we'd sample the restaurants nearby (we loved the Stone House).
Sitting on the terrace, overlooking the water, watching the sun disappear over the mountains, sipping a prosecco we realized what a great place Constantino and his family welcomed us to

We had one room apartment and stayed 5 days. Super location! Lezzeno is a quiet village at the lake with few very good restaurants inly few meters around. Nest on the lake is a B&B owned by Cost which is a kind host. Only few steps down the stair and you are at a nice cozy garden and terrace and then few more steps down at the lake. Apartment has everything you need, very well design and comfortable and clean as well. Great view all the time and very convenient location 10 minutes from Bellagio and Nesso For sure will come back!!

My boyfriend and I just spent 4 nights at ‘The Nest on the Lake.’ Rafaella and Costa were kind, accommodating and welcoming. My boyfriend had only just come out of hospital and we had to change our flight to arrive late. Costa organised a transfer from the airport. Our driver Donata and his wife were kind and took us with no complaint as to how late we arrived (1am!). The room and it’s balcony had the most beautiful view of Lake Como. The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. We slept so well listening to the sounds of the lake lapping against the shore. The breakfast was nice but not amazing. It was very easy to catch a boat to various towns and there are wonderful restaurants in Lezzeno. Our favourites were Aurora and Osteria. The only downside is having to have your wits about you as you walk along the busy road.

He has fine restaurant too with a must drink cellar .Molinari ‘s classic boats just up the road await someone to make that another special venue .

Fabulous apartmemt in a building literally on the lakeside with an amazing view. Paid extra for breakfast in the gardens which was worth it. The walk along the road to the village has no pavement so care must be taken. A number of nice restaurants within walking distance

We came with our 6-year old daughter, and the three of us loved this hotel. The village feels very authentic, away from the hustle and bustle of more touristy places like Bellagio or Varenna. It's also central enough that everything is easily accessible. Costantino was very kind and has a lot of helpful tips. If we ever come back to the region, we would not hesitate to stay here again!
