An absolutely fabulous stay in this hotel. Staff at reception were very helpful and pleasant and our room was ready as soon as we arrived. Room was spotless and had complimentary tea making facilities (although you’d need to go to the mini market to get milk). Complimentary shampoo, shower gel etc. Couldn’t fault it.

Excellent hotel with helpful, attentive staff and a lovely restaurant overlooking the Lake We stayed for 3 nights in April and had a lovely time visiting Como and Bellagio despite not great weather. We ate in the hotel’s fabulous restaurant for 3 evenings and the menu is comprehensive and varied and fairly priced. Would look to return.

I couldn't have wished for more: I booked in this property because I wanted to celebrate our twenty-first wedding anniversary as I found a room facing the lake on the site.....the room is exactly the same as the photos on the site, but I assure you that the that I chose, n.203 is simply spectacular. Near the window there is a mini ladder that allows you to exit from it to access the patio where there is a table and two chairs, two deckchairs and......the lake. It's simply wonderful: lying in the sun, hearing the lapping of the water, being able to enter the lake via a ladder to swim...... the hotel is a three star, but I can guarantee you that the location of this room is worth more than all the super luxury hotels on the lake. The price is absolutely correct. The location where the hotel is located is convenient for visiting various sites on Lake Como. They also have a restaurant overlooking the lake where you can eat very well. What can I say: congratulations on the renovation work done and on the choices of furnishings in the rooms and the comfort of the bathroom.

This place is fabulous! We arrived in a rainstorm, absolutely soaked through, but our room had the heating on and instantly warmed us up. The room was small, yet cosy, and had everything we needed in there. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. My partner had stayed in 2019 for a wedding and the owner remembered him! The location is great, just a short walk up from Lezzeno ferry stop, and on the C30 bus route to Bellagio one way and Como the other way. Because the weather was a bit changeable during our stay we didn’t get to make the most of the deck and sun loungers, but it all looks great! And there are boats for hire etc., great little spot. The breakfast was great, a good range of options - cereals, breads, pastries, eggs and bacon, fruit, biscuits, rice cakes etc. The restaurant across the road is lovely too! We’ll be back again for sure!

8 km from the busy Bellagio- in a small town. One can take the ferry or the bus to Bellagio. Great breakfast and so great the free kayaks, the sun bathing area, the free use of wetsuits, the trampoline in the water- and very affordable motor boat to hire! I would love to return, had a lovely time.

What a fabulous hotel which exceeded our expectations massively. The location is superb, on the lake edge and the staff were excellent and couldn’t be more friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant for a couple of nights and each meal tasted delicious with a good range of wines to go with your selection. The ferry stop was a short walk away and takes you up or down the lake to other beautiful villages on the lake.

Fantastic find on the shore of Lake Como. Breakfast (buffet, served inside and on terrace) was wonderful, had lots of variety and catered for all requirements, dinner (served in separate restaurant overlooking the lake) was amazing, we ate there every evening rather than try elsewhere. There is also a lovely bar area and another terrace for pre-dinner drinks. Our room was on the ground floor of the villa, with a window that opened directly onto the lake, and we had access to a superb terrace on the upper level, however a balcony off the room would have been preferable. Lovely staff, well priced, strongly recommend. Also very close to one of the quieter stops for the ferry boats.

The location and dining were excellent, but the room (standard double) was just too small for two people, and the bathroom was larger than an airplane lavatory but smaller than a cruise ship bathroom. Maybe cute for a night or two but tough for 5 days. The boat tour with Mattia left right from the hotel, he was outstanding and the highlight of the whole lake!

Thanks to Covid this was our third attempt to stay in villa aurora. Booked as part of a 3 part tour of the Italian lakes for my 60th birthday and our 40th wedding anniversary we arrived from orta. Parking is fairly tight around the narrow lakeside roads but there was adequate parking and a very obliging parking assistant. The front of house staff are so helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Staff are obviously happy working here and it shows. The room was light and airy overlooking the lake. A fairly busy road separates the hotel from the lakeside and the restaurant and in front of this is a pleasant decked area complete with sun beds on which to sit and admire the view and, as we did, enjoy watching the boating activity and water skiing.
The village is small, restaurants are few and we chose to eat in the hotel. Great view of lake, delicious local dishes and great service. We had two full days visiting other towns by the boats that run like buses from the terminal located further up the village. To access this the road is narrow with few pavements and care is needed. Wouldn’t have wanted to do this in high summer when traffic is heavy.
This was my favourite hotel of the trip enhanced by the lovely staff who went over and above for us, for example printing paper copies of our Covid paperwork for our return journey. I last came to Como when I was 8, 52 years ago, and I loved it as much this time as I did then. Wonderful.

I spent a week in Hotel Villa Aurora and from the moment I arrived I was treated like family. Everyone there is so polite, friendly and approachable. The staff there are always on hand to help with any questions you may have and go above and beyond to find you the best ways to get around Lake Como.
The rooms are cleaned to perfection so when you return from your travels it is immaculate.
Their Restaurant is situated just in front of the hotel and the staff there are just as great, the food is amazing and has a great view of the lake.
The hotel is also perfectly placed as it's a 5min walk from the Lezzeno ferry port which is essential for sightseeing and a 2min walk to the bus stop if you want to get to Como city centre.
I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

I do not know if the hotel has this service, however I would email them as my friends and I have used private drivers to and from Milan and the hotel may be able to assist you with arranging transportation.
There are more places to choose from in the Lezzeno area.
