B & B CASA DELLA MUSICARELAXATION AND HOSPITALITY Welcome to everybody who have the kindness to read this brief description and to choose my house for a quiet rest in relaxation. The name of my B&B derives from the fact that I am a musician and a lover of all kinds of beautiful art that the man is able to produce by various musical instruments as well as the natural one we have got: the voice.My B&B that i’m going to briefly describe is located in a quiet area in a beautiful lakeside town named Olcio that, in ancient times, it was called Olcium and even before Olium because of the large-scale production of oil: the presence of many olive trees in the fields above the town is still real. Olcio is a small fraction of Mandello del Lario and it is located between lake and mountain, with the possibility of walking and swimming in the lake (about 150 meters). The detached house, brightly colored both inside and outside, offers guests the possibility of peace that is not easy to find. The flower garden is formed by a green area and another tiled area. The rooms have a wonderful lake view and a good breakfast, prepared in the garden or in the large living room, gives the right gear for the day.Two public car parks, not far from the house, offer the possibility of being able to park easily instead the garage is used only for motorcycles and bicycles.In the town there is a small supermarket with butcher and tobacco shop and a homemade ice cream.The rest must be discovered coming to visit me.By writing we can find various solutions. Our stay at this B&B was fantastic from beginning to end. Massimo was a wonderful host, providing us with advice and tips for excursions and restaurants. He took care of us exceptionally well; he is friendly, very kind, warm-harted and an attentive host. The accommodation is clean, very comfortable with a balcony offering a beautiful view of the lake; the sunsets from this place are truly stunning.The location is perfect for exploring the area, place with the option of parking available. The breakfast was delicious, a perfect start to the day. Highly recommended.

This is the second time we have stayed at the B&B and it won't be the last.
Massimo is a very nice, warm, helpful, professional and super organized host.
The rooms are all very clean and nicely furnished, spacious and it smells like fresh bed linen 😃
Breakfast is lovingly prepared fresh every day by Massimo, nothing is missing...

We booked the visit in 2019 but had to postpone until this year. Massimo kept in touch and kept our booking until we finally arrived to a great welcome this month. Massimo was a brilliant host offering advice and help showing a great attention to detail. He was always on hand for that last-minute query. The quality of the room was superb and he even had a winch to bring bags up to it. His catering was marvellous, everything being freshly prepared and we especially enjoyed his scrambled eggs! It was a really enjoyable stay and we would recommend Casa Della Musica to everybody.

Terrific B&B with spectacular views, excellent tasty breakfasts incorporating eggs, pastries, fruits, meats and cheeses and our particularly friendly and accommodating host Massimo and his cousin Fabio. On warmer days he made sure the air conditioning was on before we arrived back. Beds were comfy and the rooms immaculately clean.
This beautiful, peaceful village, is a small number of miles away from popular but more crowded lakeside destinations and very convenient by train or car. You may request to park in the garage. A wealth of information is provided in different languages on nearby beaches, bars, restaurants, shops, gelateria, attractions, trips by boat or cable car. Massimo is attentive in helping with queries, suggesting the most appropriate activities to suit different ages, abilities and weather conditions. This helped us to find walks incorporating sites of local culture, nature, waterfalls and viewpoints and much more. The karaoke on the beach Massimo suggested was a particular highlight.

Massimo and Fabio are a great team! They are totally available when we need them but know how to be discreet to let their guests enjoy their vacation. It's spacious, pleasant and very clean, we felt very good there. The view is beautiful. The terrace is very pleasant, it was perfect for a week at 4, with our very young daughters. We were able to travel around the lake easily, the train station is 2 steps away. The lake also for even a quick swim. The surroundings are excellent too if you like to run or walk, the paths behind the house are very pretty!
We will come back with pleasure! And we would recommend the B&B to anyone who wants to travel in the region.

Thanks to super-host Massimo you will not only enjoy your stay in a beautiful apartment with Lake view (and you will definitely enjoy it), but also feel a piece of Italian life-style “Dolche Vita” – Massimo will take care of it. He helped us literally with everything, from train tickets and daily tour tips to arranging a dinner in authentic family villa (must have). Don’t forget to mention the excellent breakfast, after which you can easily skip lunch. Music lovers will appreciate the piano in the breakfast room, or, if you are convincing enough Massimo will invite you to the church so you will be lucky to see his organ performance. Train station Olcio is around the corner, from there you can easily reach in 15 mins Como lake triangle, so the car is not really needed. 2 restaurants, ice-cream corner are very close, or you can ask Massimo, he will organize Pizza delivery.

We had a fantastic holiday at Massimo in his B&B! From the first moment (with a beer) he was welcoming, helpful, cheerful and worked very hard to make us experience an unforgettable holiday.
Everything was taken care of to perfection. The breakfast was exquisite and extensive, the rooms were clean and tastefully decorated and we felt right at home.
The area is more than enough to see and do and Massimo is always willing to help and advise to make the trips successful. Even when returning from a trip he made sure the air conditioning was on after a long hot day and we could immediately enjoy our cool room.
Lake Como is beautiful, surrounded by mountains and the water is clean and it is wonderfully warm. You can lie within walking distance of a landscaped beach! Highly recommended.
