My husband and I just came home from a week stay at this property. Everything about our stay was perfect. Upon arrival, we were immediately escorted to our room and encouraged to rest before completing the check in process (what a way to start a vacation!) There are only 8 rooms at the villa so we really got to know the staff, who were all attentive, accommodating and kind. Breakfast is fresh and delicious and our room was cleaned each morning by the time we finished (again, such attention to detail). Dinner onsite was delicious. The pool and views were dreamy. The location was perfect for us - a 5 minute drive to Bellagio, just enough to be away from the crowds but close enough to make a trip to the town pleasant. We visited several other towns by boat, which were all lovely, but are happy we were near Bellagio as the shops and food selections were plentiful. Last point on the Villa - I didn't catch everyone's names so I hesitate to name anyone in particular (again, everyone was so friendly) but would be remiss if I didn't say that Anna and Roberto were such a pleasure and brought smiles to our faces every day.

If there was a rating higher than excellent… I would give that. I don’t have enough good things about our stay at the Villa Mojana. Anna and the entire team were nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we started planning my clients wedding and stay at the villa, Anna moved mountains to ensure our stay was a flawless experience from beginning to end. When we arrived we were greeted with warm smiles and spritzes and shown to our beautiful rooms, all with incredible lake views. The food at the Villa was remarkable and the entire wait staff did an incredible job at accommodating dietary restrictions with Michelin level food and drink. Getting to and from Bellagio was a breeze, but we throughly enjoyed laying pool side and relaxing. I don’t have enough good things to say about the Villa Mojana, except I can’t wait to come back and I will send every client, friend and stranger. The perfect getaway. Thank you to the entire staff!

A fantastic villa very close to Bellagio but also with the benefit of being in a secluded location so you’re away from the crowds.
The view of the lake and the mountains from all parts and rooms on the property is amazing.
The rooms are great and the pool, while we didn’t use it as it’s still cold, looked very inviting with a great view also.
We had dinner there two nights as after the first night we just had to have it again. Very attentive staff made us feel very welcome throughout our stay.
Breakfast was also very good with usual Italian options but also the ability to have cooked eggs and bacon.
Anna was especially welcoming and went out of our way to help us through booking and during our stay.

Absolutely kind staff- helpful in planning and since arrival! Amazing, fresh breakfast spread with fresh and dried fruit, nuts, sweet and savory pastries, fresh cooked edges, coffees and teas. Are room is stunning with the most beautiful patio for night convos and view of the lake. Everything in this hotel has a clean, light natural scent and is very clean. Robes and slippers provided as well as in room coffee and mini bar/mini fridge. Shower caps, bath gel, bars, soap and conditioner also provided. Very close to the Limonta ferry. Took a private car from the milan airport and plan to taxi/ferry.

Superb - really enjoyed our stay , staff , service and food quality was excellent. The setting is breathtaking and everything met our needs. Would highly recommend. We had a car so no issues with transport. Would absolutely return. The room and bed quality was excellent and despite being a bit bracing the pool was a welcome opportunity to have a cold water swim in the morning. Loved everything

My partner and I stayed here at the end of August 2020, during the covid pandemic.
It was a real treat to get away and we loved our stay here. The staff were amazingly friendly and the hotel was very much ‘High end’.
My positive/negative points of my stay are as follows.
Positive: Great staff, very friendly and happy to help organise trips/make restaurant recommendations etc.
The room (Room 1) was very comfortable and the view from our balcony overlooked the pool onto the lake. We couldn’t have asked for a better view! The bed was very comfortable.
There are only 5/6 rooms, spread over the estate so it felt very exclusive and we hardly saw anyone else expect at breakfast! During the pandemic as well this helped us feel safe and enabled us to relax as soon as we arrived.
The breakfast was good albeit basic. We quickly found out this seems to be an Italian thing.. breakfast is a much smaller affair. We had fresh coffee, juices yogurt and eggs each morning.. just don’t expect eggs Benedict or a full English! Breakfast was served on the beautiful terrace overlooking the lake.
Negative:
The room: There was lots of basics I’d have expected in the room of this price, but didn’t find. Such as a bin in the bedroom, draws and a wardrobe (there was just a single rail for clothes.) coffee in the room was also chargeable.. but it was a nice tassimo style pod and only cost €1.50. The shower pressure also seems to change from time to time and the towel rail and loo roll holder were almost hanging off the wall.
The pool: Overall the pool was great, lots of lovely views and nice and clean. However it wasn’t heated and felt very cool! It was also fairly poorly positioned (clearly not their fault) so only really got the sun until mid day.
The location: this is both a positive and negative! The location was very quiet and good for relaxing.. this being said, there was only one restaurant walkable from the hotel. This was fine for our 2 night stay, but would mean driving/taxis if you wanted more variety.
I’d love to give this hotel 5 stars, but based on the relative cost I think 4 is fair. I’d certainly come back to the area, but I think for the price paid id try somewhere else first. A great stay, but a few very minor changes needed in my opinion.

The setting of the hotel and the views of Lake Como are both stunning. Plenty of beautiful photo opportunities from the terrace and the pool. The room was comfortable and spacious with quality bed linen and stylish furniture. The bathroom was up a flight of stairs and was very much style over practicality as the shower leaked straight on to floor. Staff were super helpful and very friendly. The meal was overpriced for the quality and we would have preferred choice rather than a set menu. We are at the hotel both nights as we didn’t want to drive in to Bellagio.

We only stayed one night because there was no more availability. But to start our Lake Como trip here was so perfect. Anna and Sara are amazing. They were so welcoming when we arrived early and accommodated any possible need. The room was clean and air conditioner worked well for the hot weather. The design in the room was very modern but because of this the shower water poured out into the wood floor in the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and Leza set up a beautiful breakfast which was included. The pool was beautiful and very clean. The one downfall is you really need a car to stay here if you want to explore Bellagio. The road is somewhat difficult to walk down as it is very narrow and cars are driving fast. Overall we would come back to relax for a couple of nights before moving on to Bellagio center or Varenna for remainder of the stay. What truly made this stay was the staff. Excellent job and the boat tour they booked us was the highlight of our 5 day trip to Como. Thank you so much!!!

I truly have no words by how magical this place is. The atmosphere, the care of the staff, the views, the location, its truly one of a kind.
We would recommend to rent a car at the airport as there's many beautiful places to see in the area, but we will 100% be coming back to this magic hotel!
There is also a private chef who caters to your needs and it was by far the best meal we had in bellagio. Thank you so much to the entire staff, our friends and family are already on the way to you!!

Our stay in Villa Mojana was amazing. As mentioned by the other reviews, the hotel is small with a boutique feeling. The decor is very stylish (sort of Scandi) and the room was a good size (we stayed in the main building). The views are incredible! The staff were also very helpful.
The reasons for four stars and not five are: 1) the food was good but not amazing; 2) the location is great for staying in the hotel and walking down to a little jetty into the lake but you are quite some way from Bellagio so need to drive if you are going to a restaurant; 3) the bathroom was a little small and the shower was very difficult to operate - the water oscillated from boiling hot to freezing cold.
Aside from these small points we had an amazing time at the hotel and would definitely recommend it to others!
