This property is incredible. We stayed in Villa Vitoria, which has plenty of room for 11 guests. There were 5 of us so it was extremely spacious. The villa itself is pristine and beautifully presented. Everything you need is catered for. We had 3 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms in the villa, but didn’t need to use 2 of the rooms as we had ample space. Outdoors, our pool was perfect for the 5 of us, and the spa jets and seating area in it were fab. The view exceeded our expectations- Lake Como is stunning. The surrounding gardens were stunning - the scent of honeysuckle was lovely, and we were surrounded by olive and cherry trees. The villa is such a quiet, relaxing place to stay we didn’t really want to leave! The very short walk to the OnnoLulu beach bar is a must. The mojitos and pizzas are highly recommended and there is a great atmosphere and a good place to sunbathe or swim. A little further on is the ferry stop which took us to Bellagio for the day and that is an absolute must for a day trip. It’s a stunning area to visit. Lots of lovely places to eat and shop. The fish restaurants were lovely, too in Onno itself. From OnnoLulu bar we rented kayaks (very inexpensive), to go out over the lake and the views and experience was well worth it. You can also rent boats by the hour.
One of the best things about this stay was the wonderful service from Gloria, the villa manager. We communicated prior to the stay about our arrival and check in, and via WhatsApp while we were there. She could not have been more helpful and she was there to answer every question we had. Nothing was too much trouble and she was genuinely happy that we had enjoyed such a wonderful stay.
My one recommendation would be to stop at a supermarket en route and stock up, unless you hire a car. This is more for convenience than anything else, as you won’t want to leave your villa when you’re there! We are already planning a return visit. You won’t be disappointed.

Large house and flat, with a scenic view on the lake Como, this place offers all the comfort you might need for a weekend, or more.
Nice rooms with ensuite, well maintained garden, access to the beach, 2 swimming pools, 1 jacuzzi and 2 saunas; one inside downstairs with the rooms, one outside, by the pool.
The staff was nice, flexible and easy to deal with.
The environment is quiet and only a few minutes from local restaurants.
Next time we'll book a cruise on the lake with canoes as with a nice weather that must be a great experience.

Spectacular views from the apartment, very clean and also great support provided from Gloria. Local restaurants and bars were great. Transport options limited, would recommend a car. We had a great week, the facilities are great and all the restaurants are within walking distance. Special mention to Onnolulu Beach and Bar Breva

This place was lovely... clean. Can't ask for much more than that. Except good management.

A group of folks staying in the village were VERY drunk and kept most of our party up for the better part of two evenings (read, 3 a.m.) screaming and jumping in the pool after hours. Bc a few of our single men joined due to mostly naked drunk women flopping around in the pool, they refused to refund an $800 security deposit. There is video evidence our group was not causing a disturbance. Furthermore, they said that bc the was champagne poured in the pool, the pool became basic. Not only was this again not our group pouring champagne in the pool, but this is not a thing.

So I wouldn't stay here again. And neither should you.

Last month (June of 2019), my partner and I rented the entire Bellagio Village, the apartments and the villa, for a 50th birthday celebration for over 20 people. Before landing on Bellagio, we checked out MANY villas and apartments, and nothing suited our needs or aesthetic quite like Bellagio. And the price was amazing in comparison to what else we were seeing.

We planned for about a year, and during that time, Gloria was expedient with answers, patient, and extremely helpful and knowledgable about the property and Lake Como in general. She even found a local craftsman to make my guests wooden souvenirs from local olive wood, something special we wanted to do for our guests. She had them made and personalized, ready as soon as we arrived. She also helped organize a brunch that was privately catered by local Chef Johann, and was SUPERB. Not to mention worked directly with a food tour company I hired for the birthday celebration dinner to make sure they docked at the right pier and had the right address to drop us back at the villa.

The photos online (we checked many sources including their website) were substantial and beautiful and got us excited about our trip. However, nothing we saw compared to the reality of Bellagio Village itself. The setting is stunning, with an incredible lake view from all common areas, and many of the bedrooms themselves. A giant mountain (in my opinion, the most stunning vista on the entire lake) rests directly in front of the complex. The apartments were immaculate, tastefully appointed and true to the photos, even better. From the pool area to the olive garden, from the beach area to the private dock (where we docked our rented boats to easily swap out people to enjoy the lake), Bellagio Village is situated in a secluded part of the lake, but still has extremely nearby access to restaurants (authentic Italian… both sit down and casual), nightlife (two bars that cater to a younger crowd and are open late during summer months, especially weekends), and of course the beautiful Lake Como.

A few detailed notes:

1. If you are looking for a group rental of let’s say 20 to 26 people, this is THE PLACE, trust me, I feel like I literally checked out every rental on the lake. Sure there are others with a more authentic rustic Italian charm, but Lake Como is also very chic and modern, which this place has in spades without overdoing it. With four apartments and a villa, your guests can congregate in the pool area or the many upstairs and downstairs patio areas, then retreat to renew and refresh when they want.
2. If you are a couple, or a small group, I would suggest the entire villa (modern and stunning inside and out), or the “Varenna” and “Bellagio” apartments (views galore from not only the downstairs living room areas, but also the upstairs apartments, which have massive skylights that directly open to the outside air if you so choose.
3. RENT A CAR… it’s the easiest way to have more control over grocery shopping, traveling to other restaurants… also only 20 minutes to Bellagio where you can ferry to Varenna, two places that of course can’t be missed. The parking out back is huge, not to mention the parking lot underground with direct access to the villa and Guello and Mandello apartments (Varenna and Bellagio you are best parking in the parking lot as their entrances are upstairs). The roads are a wee bit treacherous going around tight corners, but kinda fun and exciting :)
4. RENT A BOAT… Cruise to Laglio (we were there when Obama was visiting Clooney), see the lake from the water… VERY important as there are stunning villas and nature surrounding the lake. On one boat trip in the morning, 4 huge swans were flying across the water in tandem… one of most majestic sights I have ever seen, and don’t laugh, but I have never seen swans fly! The private dock is easy to maneuver and only steps down the road from the bottom of the Bellagio Village property.
5. There is a washing machine in every unit, but no dryer. However they have handy drying racks in each apartment as well. Great if you are staying longer and need to wash a few things.
6. Bring plug adapters and a voltage converter if you need it. The plugs are European, as is common.
7. There are dishwashers in every apartment, Varenna’s is the biggest. Dishes and silverware is plenty. Some condiments like salt, pepper and olive oil, but don’t count on it as it varies by apartment. Buy your own detergent for both dishes and clothes.
8. Towel are provided, both beach and regular.
9. Coffee makers in each apartment, they are Nescafe, and take Nescafe pods… easy to work, but make sure you are there to turn off the water. Its quick and easy, and the pods make coffee that is pretty freaking good.
10. The pool is slightly heated in most summer and surrounding months to what I called the perfect temperature… not too warm and not too cold… refreshing but not shocking.
11. Any issues or questions that arose, Gloria was on site most of the day to answer and fix (air conditioning, water leak under fridge) and all were resolved, mostly immediately or the next day.
12. The beaches get crowded during the summer months, so keep that in mind. If you are looking for beauty and seclusion, hang out at the Bellagio Village pool, or lounge around outside, or visit the beach down below the property anytime Monday through Thursday.

I’m sure there are more details I missed. But, as you can see, our time in Lake Como was magical, for us AND our guests, thanks to Gloria and Bellagio Village.

We booked this wonderful villa and really enjoyed our stay there. It is brand new, has all necessary equipment inside - and they even provide a bottle of Prosecco upon your arrival. Location is great - you can easily drive to Como, Bellagio, Lecco. Staff is friendly and helpful.
I would suggest to book rooms on higher floor.

My husband and I brought our family to stay here for our wedding on Lake Como. The place was nice and clean and the views were incredible. The first evening we were there we had terribly loud neighbors who had apparently received permission to use the pool. They were noisy and drunk performing cannon balls and playing chicken in the pool. I contacted management to make sure these people had access to the pool, but no response was given until morning. A few of our guests spoke with the neighbors who said they’d paid more for pool access. Those few members of our party sat in the hot tub to talk with the neighbors, but were not part of the noise issue or “spilling of drinks”. We were informed the next day of complaints and explained the situation. We were told this was not a problem and a “warning” and no further action would be taken. The following evening none of our party got in the pool at night, but once again our neighbors did and a permanent neighbor complained to police. The following morning the guest neighbors were kicked out of their place. At this time, we were informed we would be billed the deposit. On the morning of our WEDDING my husband spoke with the manager on site. She was so flustered because the neighbors left without paying that she told us we had to pay or she’d call the cops. We did so to avoid ruining our wedding day, but disputed once we got home. We are now in a dispute where they are claiming we are responsible for the damages to the pool and owe the deposit for the noise complaints.

If we could do it all over again, we wouldn’t. It’s unfortunate because the views and place are great, but management was so poor it could have easily ruined our wedding had we let it.

Response from BELLAGIOVILLAGE, Proprietario at Bellagio Village
Responded Oct 19, 2019
Dear Cammy It's the second review written by you and your group... I understand that you can be disappointed and frustrated because we kept the deposit on your wedding day, but if you hadn't been part of the loud party (UNTIL 4 AM, causing serious damages to the pool and bothering the other neighboors) we wouldn't have kept the deposit. Wihtout considering th other costs for the other inconvenience, just consider that the day after we've had to refund the first night (900euro) to the new guests who couldn't use the pool for one day. And the deposit we kept from you was only a part of it! You signed our house rules and you knew that if you broke any rule (in this case to have not party after midnight) the deposit would have been totally hold. It's not true that we haven't answered your message until the morning as I still have the messages we exchanged: you texted at 00.14 am and I answered at 01.34 am. You've also got a wrong information and no one was flustered as the other guests paid the total cost of ther stay+deposit! Luckily we still have videos that prove that a part of your group took part at the party of the first night. Then you keep on going to complaint and write bad reviews on our structure :)

Bellagio......
Your trip to Lake Como is incomplete without a visit to its Pearl: Bellagio, one of the most beautiful places in the region of Lombardy.

Bellagio is located halfway between the two southernmost branches of the lake, and is famous worldwide for its beautiful villas overlooking the water (like Villa Serbelloni or Villa Melzi).

Most of the attractions are located within walking distance, which makes Bellagio perfect also for a day trip.... Mouth-watering, relaxing and exotic cruisine... A great place to chill and bask in the crisp sunshine with blue skies and emarald green waters... A place that is exciting, cool and indeed romantic to tempt you fall in love again.

Answer from BELLAGIOVILLAGE
Oliveto Lario, Italy
The villa is independent, with a private garden, relax area (sauna, emotional shower and tea room) and solarium by the pool but it shares the pool with the other 4 apts. We have a website but we can't share it here, try to search villa costanza bellagio village on the web

What airport would you recommend flying into if staying at the bellagio?
Answer from BELLAGIOVILLAGE
Oliveto Lario, Italy
Dear Sianne thank you for your question. We are located about 1 hour away from Bergamo Airport, 1 hour away from Milan Linate Airport and little more than 1 hour from Milan Malpensa airport. You can easily reach us by car from all the airports. If you want to come by transport I reccomend the Milan Linate Airport.
