We were lucky enough to spend three amazing nights on Orpheus Island but next time we will stay longer. From the moment we entered the Nautilus hangar, we were treated like royalty and never lifted a finger to do anything. Arriving at the Island is hard to put into words, the helicopter leans over slightly, makes a right turn and...

If you are considering visiting Orpheus Island I suggest you go! The food was amazing the scenery was great and the staff went above and beyond our expectations. There is plenty to do, or if you prefer, you can sit, relax and watch the sunset! It must be one of Queensland's best kept secrets, however it is worth discovering.

From touch down to take off, our stay on Orpheus Island was perfect. The accommodation was great, the food a real culinary adventure and drinks in the spectacular horizon pool was a great end to each day. We snorkelled, went scuba diving, fishing and hiking around the island, and there was still lots of things to do when we had...

We travelled with a group of friends and from the moment we are arrived, we were overwhelmed by the picture perfect surroundings and tranquillity of the island. The decor of the rooms and main lodge were tasteful, relaxed and very inviting; reflecting the ambience of the resort. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the infinity pool with a cocktail, but the...

Fantastic experience. Do as much or as little one likes. With a maximum of 30 guests at any given time, this is a trip that will stay with us for a long time. The staff is fantastic and the food unbelievable. The corals are also a must.

Booking and Pre-arrival. The team on the booking desk was excellent to deal with, very timely responses to questions, and always going that bit further than I expected. Jade, Suzanne, and Renee from the reservation department did an amazing job all round. 5 out of 5. Arrival. The transfer out to the island was by helicopter from the Townsville airport,...

Orpheus Island impressed and exceeded expectations from the initial contact months before our arrival right through our departure after a several day stay. The Orpheus staff made the reservation process incredibly easy and personal despite the time difference and all the logistics of arrival and departure(including helicoptering on and off Orpheus)were handled professionally and executed flawlessly. Orpheus is an incredibly...

What a trip! Firstly I will say from the moment we arrived we felt relaxed. We arrived at the island via helicopter and were greeted by management, Ross and Jen, who are absolutely lovely. We were also met by another couple who were flying out, they were so happy but very disappointed to be leaving, they told us 'they didn't...

a secluded island resort off the coast of the great barrier reef, this is a place worth visiting. The five-star review comes with some caveats. The "5" is due to the beauty, the seclusion, the food, and the amazing staff. the rooms while spacious are NOT luxurious. they are more beachy in nature and the bathrooms are somewhat poor, at...
