No tvs, no crowds, no hassle! If you enjoy the simple things and need a quiet getaway this is definitely the place. Our little cabana had a king size bed, couch, dresser and a small bathroom. This is not a luxury resort with all kinds of "activities" and multiple dining options. This is a small property and it was all...

Absolutely loved staying here, and would recommend this to anyone and everyone. South water Caye is a very small island, and we felt very safe and happy the whole time. Blue Marlin staff was very kind and always helpful. The food was so good! And Stacy at the bar knows how to make a drink!

I absolutely loved this resort. It was exactly what I needed. My very own “Gilligan’s Island”, lol. No crowds or tourist traps. No unnecessary obligatory excursions to occupy my time. Blue Marlin Resort is perfect for individuals and small groups (especially road warriors from the States) that want to get away, unwind and relax on the beach and just unplug...

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We are happy to know that our little island sanctuary was just what you needed for your getaway to disconnect, and you felt right at home with us. Look forward to helping you to plan a spectacular getaway with your friends very soon :)

I loved my time at Blue Marlin. The staff, charm, seclusion, views, reef and aquatic life all mixed together into an unforgettable, mind-clearing getaway. You can make what you want out of your stay. If you want to vegetate on a hammock and not to be disturbed, then you'll have that. If you want to be interactive with the staff...

My wife and I stayed at Blue Marlin Beach Resort for a week in late November/early December. If you don’t want to read through my narrative, but just want to know,…would I return…the answer is, without reservation, “Yes”. We are “independent travelers”, preferring to research our destinations and make our own arrangements. We’ve never had an all‐inclusive experience. We’ve never...

At first we were reluctant to come to Belize because of the Hurricane in early August, but then last minute decided to go anyway and Blue Marlin Beach Resort ( and Bonefish in Dangriga) was our first stay. Boy were we glad we did! Its not everyday I get to stay on a tiny island literally being the only guest...

Thank you for sharing your unique experience on South Water Caye. It was absolutely our pleasure hosting you both at our little jewel on the reef, and we truly appreciate that our Team's efforts to ensure your vacation proceeded without a hitch did not go unnoticed. Our "night on the town" in Dangriga is a cherished memory :)

We stayed for 3 nights with another family and our teenage children. In all, we had one cabana and two igloos. While we had a hiccup with the initial reservation, they handled it professionally and we were satisfied with the outcome. The cabanas are private and beautiful. The igloos are surprisingly roomy and keep nice and cool. All of the...

We arrived with two staff and 18 16-18 year old Environmental Science students from Winchester in the UK. The students were taking part in a 'Reef and rainforest' expedition run by Programme for Belize. Although the two staff members have run this trip to Belize many times, we had not been to Blue Marlin. The resort exceeded our expectations. Accommodation,...

The owner was very gracious and assisted us in many ways during our short 24 hour anchorage in front of the resort restaurant. He assisted in helping us report our stolen dinghy. He sent a boat out to pick us up for supper as we had not transportation to get ashore. He provided us with free bubbly when the couple...

Thank you for sharing your experience. We were happy to help out sailors in need. And then it was an unexpected pleasure to find out we were the chosen island venue for the engagement proposal and to be included in this lifetime memorable occasion. We can't wait to hear of their honeymoon plans.

We didn't stay out the lodge, but we did eat at their restaurant. The island is beautiful with numerous palm trees. I enjoyed the hammocks as we waited to go to dinner. Enjoyed the snapper with veggies, delicious eggplant (and I'm not typically a fan), and rice. Also, they served a celery soup as an appetizer that was phenomenal. Definitely...
