My husband and I have stayed here twice, most recently with our 4-year old son. The accomodations are wonderful, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We always spend at least one entire day at the beach here for the incredible snorkeling. For side trips, we like Smith's Cove and Rum Point. Over the Edge (on the northside) is...

I would have given this a 4-star rating, but some attention needs to be drawn to the fact that the beaches are crap, the water is constantly choppy from the wind and it is impossiible to wade or swim in the water from all of the sea-grass and rocks The French-Canadiens that run the place are cold and a bit...

We thank you for staying at our Inn, and for posting a review. While it may not concur with most other reviews, we certainly respect your evaluation of the Inn. The numerous positive reviews have attracted many Inn "regulars" who return year after year, but may at times create unrealistic expectations. The Inn is certainly not for everyone -- no...

We stayed at the Turtle Nest Inn last week for 5 days. We stayed in apartment #7. The view was amazing....overlooking the ocean. The room was immaculate and the service was great. Had fun snorkeling right in back of the hotel. Saw a huge lobster and many fish of all sizes. Our favorite high end restaurant was the Cracked Conch....

First, all the wonderful things the reviews on this site say are true. I am writing about our experience (which, unfortunately, isn't uncommon) as an addition. During the second night in condo 5 someone broke in and stole my cell phone and some cash. I had all the doors locked. When we reported this to the hotel and the police...

We deeply regret the experience of these guests, and certainly understand how disconcerting a burglary can be, especially while on vacation. We do have a safe at the Inn office, accessible every day between 9:00am and 5:30pm, but burglaries are indeed a very rare occurence here. Up until the current world-wide economic recession, even such basic precautions as locking doors,...

We stayed in Apt 7, a 2nd floor beachfront apartment in the original Inn. They also manage two condo's next door, but only one of those condos has direct/good beachfront views. The apartment was just the right size for a couple, very quite and had everything we needed i.e. silverware, pots/pans, coffeecups, coffee filters, salt/pepper. a 12 pack cooler etc......

I cant think of a single thing to complain about. The location is ideal and quiet. The staff are better than any 5 star hotel I have stayed in. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. The view is worth a million dollars. There is no better place in the Caribbean.

This perfectly maintained set of apartments looks from the inside to be in the midwest, except for the flowery cushions on wicker sofas. Then you step out into paradise! Right on the beach, inside the reef, with Cayman perfect water and lots of colorful fish. The kitchens are decently equipped, the beds comfy, the rooms quiet, EVERYTHING works. The owners...

We feel very torn telling travellers about Turtle Nest Inn and Condos as it's as near to perfect one can find on Grand Cayman and by broadcasting this fact we'll probably jeopardise our own chances of ever being able to book again!

This was our first trip to Grand Cayman and we had a fabulous stay at Turtle Nest Inn!! Oh my how I wish we were there now!! The staff was wonderful and we truly felt like family, Donna and John, were always there to assist us and answer every question. Everything was clean and tidy and the views were breath...

One of those travel finds you'd like keep secret but too good not to share. Private, off the beaten path, great location, warm reception, top notch condos, good value--toss in super snorkeling in the reef sheltered waters in front of the inn and you've got a winner. Two unusual perks--leave your snorkel gear home. Turtle Nest provides good equipment. And,...
