My wife and I have been to cephalonia many time but this was our first visit to the Asteris hotel. The hotel was recommended to us by friends and we had such a fantastic holiday that we are now looking forward to going back next year. The hotel is a small family run hotel and very well worth a visit,...

Stayed here for two weeks at the beginning of September. The hotel was recommended to us and it did not disappoint!! Had a large self catering room with bathroom and balcony. We had asked for a sea view but we booked with Thomas Cook and they dont have sea view rooms at the Asteris. The food in the restaurant was...

I stayed here for a week in September with my girlfriend and we loved every minute of it. A few months before i stayed I emailed the hotel to arrange a champagne breakfast for my girlfriends birthday which was during our holiday and Yiannis picked up my query and got this arranged for me seamlessly. We had a self catering...

This place has found the formula to ensure the happiness of their guests. Family run, with extraordinary personalised service and a setting with views you'll never forget.... it's as near ideal as you can get. From the moment we arrived to the day we left- (they even made us sandwiches for the flight home!) - nothing was too much trouble...

We stayed in a ground floor superior studio in September. This was very spacious (about twice the size of a typical Greek studio), complete with large private terrace and lovely uninterrupted sea/coastal view towards Skala. Nicely furnished with a comfortable settee, table/ chairs etc, ample wardrobe/ storage and a small kitchenette. Modern TV with BBC World News and Deutsche Welle...

Easy on the eye, very clean and tidy. Staff very welcoming and very friendly. Rooms are large and have air condition but this at an extra cost. The pool is big with a kiddies pool for the youngster. The hotel is a little out of town but work it.
