Spent 4 nights at the lovely Sud Suites and wish we’d had longer. From the moment you walk into the entrance you know you won’t be disappointed. CCTV in all common areas which is reassuring.
The rooms are immaculately clean and spacious with a balcony and fantastic sea view. Comfy beds and an amazing bathroom with large shower. Spotlessly cleaned everyday with fresh towels.
We had no issue at all with noise as mentioned in other reviews.
Location very good too with lots of restaurants/bars and shops within walking distance. Nice beach 5 min walk away.
Reception were very good too and happy to help with anything. Thanks Javier. Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to return one day 😎

Fantastic suites, so comfortable. Incredibly helpful staff and an ideal position. We had a superb week. Unusual and quirky interior decoration and layout and very clean. The jacuzzi and sun beds on the roof meant we did not miss having a pool to relax around.

We appreciated how spacious the apartment was, the children in their room had their own bathroom too.
Magnificent sea view.
The only downside is that it is overlooked, you have to remember to close the curtains when you get out of the shower.
Too bad there is no parking reserved for the hotel. It's really very difficult to park.
Little advice, if you come to Ibiza rent a car as soon as you are at the airport, because other rental companies in the city center or in hotels are very expensive, be careful, all the blue zones are paid parking zones. I advise you to download the ElParking app, which allows you to pay for your parking meter wherever you are without having to collect a ticket, and when the time is up you receive a notification and you can reload your setting without move around.
Watch out for almonds, bad parking is expensive: €45!!!
Regarding the hotel, cleaning is done every day, it is very clean. The decoration is very beautiful, the apartment is very very well equipped.
There’s Netflix!
There is a jacuzzi on the top floor on the terrace, with a very nice view, the jacuzzi is accessible free of charge all day until 9 p.m.
Too bad it doesn’t offer breakfast service.

So first of all, the positive. Stylish rooms, large, top location, great sea view. 100 meters to the beach. Just under 15 minutes walk to Ibiza town. Restaurants and supermarkets in the immediate vicinity. Staff almost all very friendly. Free bike rental. So much for the better.

Cons:
Room very, very noisy. When someone walks over your room, you hear that. At night or even in the morning at 06.00h partygoers come back with corresponding noise levels. Sleep is then settled.
Kitchen equipment very spartan.
Room cleaning, well. Wiping is only on request, refrigerator (minibar) is not refilled (but can be reordered at the reception). Balcony also very spartan cleaned.
When checking in request for another room (other floor) was rejected arguing that is the policy of the management (once booked you keep the room). There were others free.
If you live on the 1st floor like us, you just have to like it, as restaurants are right below, corresponding volume.
Beds aren't the best either.

All in all, unfortunately, we think the price-performance ratio does not fit. Even if it is Ibiza, the accommodation is simply too expensive.

The location of the hotel is nice, close to Figueretes. Unfortunately, that's about it.

Management:

We made an initial booking, which we had to reschedule for private reasons. When contacting the hotel, they were anything but understanding and comforting. When we asked to talk to the manager directly (by email and phone), we were repeatedly told that he would not talk to guests (!). At the end, we were able to reschedule without extra fee, but the journey to get there was very unpleasant.

Room:

Upon arrival, we checked the room and identified black mould in the shower. When asking the reception about it, we were told that "all the rooms have mould". I asked them, whether that would be there solution, to which they just shrugged their shoulders. At the end, there was a housekeeper who put on some silicon and the problem was "fixed", if you want to call it that.

On days 3-5, we had a continuously growing ant colony in the room (see picture). We had no food which would attract the ants and identified the source outside in the hallway. Already capitulating in view of the other experiences, we did not even contact the reception, hoping the problem would solve itself eventually. Apparently, the cleaning staff was not able to identify the problem themselves and the problem pertained until our departure.

The rest of the room itself was ok, but we identified hair from other guests on the lamps. Just another point adding to the overall impression that this hotel does not care about cleanliness.

Facilities:

In view of the other issues, we did not spend much time in the other parts of the hotel. However, we used the rooftop terrace, where the sunbeds were not very clean.

Summary:

The hotel has potential. We understand that mould and ants can be a temporary issue and that it's not always easy to keep outside parts well-maintained. However, the management should be present, the reception should be trained in communication skills and the rooms should be regularly maintained. Until this changes, I would not recommend the place to anyone, in particular given the price is very high compared to other, way better maintained hotels in the vicinity.

Dear Stekstek, Thank you for your comment. First of all, I would like to clarify, when making a reservation at a hotel, there are normally two types of rates with clearly differentiated conditions that bind both parties. The standard rate that usually has a flexible cancellation policy and the NON-REFUNDABLE Rate. In both cases, the client can freely choose the conditions and the rate that suits them best. Non-refundable rates have a cheaper price, and they clearly state that, if you choose a non-refundable rate, they will NOT be refunded in the event of cancellation. You freely made a NON-REFUNDABLE reservation and then wanted to cancel, before this you were repeatedly informed of the conditions. In these cases, and how could it be otherwise, the criteria of the hotel reception and that of the management is EXACTLY the same, and they were made aware of this. Notwithstanding this, you, in an unprecedented and totally improper exercise, harassed the establishment's management even on their private social media profiles. These events occur in the weeks prior to its establishment. And once here, the behavior was one of permanent complaint. Our establishment is highly valued in terms of cleanliness, and if it is true that this summer Ibiza has suffered a historic heat wave that made harmless ants appear on specific days. All this, despite the fact that periodic treatments are carried out, against all types of pests. But this does not detract from the excellent work carried out by the cleaning department. Without further, receive a best regards.

I was lucky enough to be able to come back to Ibiza 10 days after I had left. I had never been so late in the season so I was interested to see how it was. I couldn’t get into my preferred hotel as they were fully booked, but I wanted to stay in the same area of Playa de Figueretas which is South East of the island. I had seen Sud Ibiza Suites on previous visits and was curious. The reviews on TA were overall good and it was priced well at €1,050 for 6 nights so I thought I would give it a try. Although it’s not strictly a hotel, more of an aparthotel, it still provides services such as daily cleaning, and the place was spotless. I loved my sea view suite, plenty of room, immaculate inside with fresh new looking linens and towels. All the appliances you could need, including a Nespresso machine, kettle, toaster, hob, dishwasher, fridge with a freezer for ice (which they provide free from the lower floor), all of which also looked brand new and there was also a laundry facility onsite. Cutlery and tableware, pots and pans are all available in the small but perfectly adequate kitchen. Single use toiletries are also provided although an ‘own’ brand and not a luxury brand. Full efficient and quiet AC too. I was pleasantly surprised. The rooftop terrace doesn’t have a pool, it does however have a lovely heated jacuzzi and outdoor shower. There is no bar either but you can BYO. The terrace is spacious with awesome views with comfortable daybeds and sun beds with soft furnishing and even a hammock. Massages are available daily either in your suite or on the terrace in a cabana. I was almost nearly always alone on the terrace which is treated as a quiet place so the perfect spot to unwind and read a book. While it lacks some amenities (pool, bar etc) it makes up for it in other ways and is a perfect choice for an affordable getaway. Reception were friendly and welcoming as were all the housekeeping staff who did an amazing job of keeping my suite immaculate. You can also watch the sunrise and sunset from the corner suites (which I had - 306). As this is a beachfront building, it’s lovely to fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the waves. The only downside is depending on your neighbours there maybe some noise (same everywhere) but it wasn’t intrusive or unbearable. Several restaurants / bars are immediately below so you do get some noise from there but again it’s not overly annoying and I am sure the 4th and 5th floors offer even more distance so higher floors are a good request! I would recommend this establishment for anyone who doesn’t want to pay for amenities such as pools and bars and luxury single use toiletries. The beach is on your doorstep as are bars so you can make a significant saving by foregoing a pool and bar. Nothing to complain about overall!

We stay here most years due to the location and quality of accommodation. It also has private parking €25 per night for two small cars.
This is the second time we’ve had water pouring through the ceiling from the a/c unit. We woke up on departure day to find our belongings soaked.
I told the manager and he didn’t seem to care. I asked if the €75 euro parking charge could be reduced as gesture towards having to return with a suitcase of wet clothes but it was a firm “no”.
Clearly money is more important to the owners than customer care. A little gesture or acknowledgement of the water damage would go a long way especially for regular customers.
As per other reviews, the sound from adjoining rooms can be troublesome.

This aparthotel is in a great location. Beach on doorstep and 15 mins walk to the old town. The rooms are clean and well equipped with everything you would need. The shower is amazing with great pressure. If you’re a light sleeper in any way, don’t stay here as the walls are paper thin. You can hear the toilet flushing in the room above and furniture moving from rooms beside and above. There is also a large space under the room door so you can hear a whisper when people are passing by on the corridor.

We had booked a room/apartment for 3 nights. The air conditioning was broken and made a lot of noise. We stood at reception several times during the night. We were only offered a new room for the next day. Despite promises that we would get our money back for that night, after our written complaint we received the answer that noise was to be expected and that we could use the room. We were invited to a wedding in Ibiza and only used it at night. And we couldn't sleep a minute. Very unaccommodating.

If I pay 400 euros per night, I expect a room with no noise

Never again!!!!

Overall the hotel is so tired, floors and walls in terrible condition, appears they do no touch ups at all. Hotel common area floors always look dirty. Shampoo is cheap quality and comes in a bottle that also looks cheap, no hair conditioner. Entire hotel is poorly ventilated giving off a musky smell throughout hallways, rooms don’t even have temp control, it’s just level 1-6, on 6 it’s super noisy but still doesn’t get that cool. You get two coffee pods in your room which are never replaced, normally hotels replace them daily as you are paying daily as well. All furniture in room looks tired and nothing like the photos, the beds are literally the worst I have slept on, frame is sooo noisy that as soon you move they make loud sounds. My booking said “1 king bed and 1 sofa bed” what I got was two singles with separate bedding which was only about 1.5 meters wide. When I told the front staff, his only reply was don’t complain to me call Expedia, like wtf?? Your responsible for the accuracy of your listings.. Didn’t care at all and didn’t offer any solutions such as replacing the bedding which also works but nope. When you sleep if you move close to the center of the singles the mattress slide open very easily. Told the staff and of course they don’t care. Plumbing has weak water pressure, free bikes are dirty not sanitized and gears are all messed up. I go on and on, just horrible.
Stay across the street at eurostars, the finishes are beautiful throughout and staff are super kind. Sud will make you feel like your at a slightly renovated old apartment, can’t wait to leave.

Answer from Felipe
Good morning, We are delighted to see that you are interested in our hotel. Regarding your question about parking, the hotel has parking at 20 €/day, but there are only 2 slots, their availability is usually null, so we recommend you book it as soon as possible. About street parking, just at the end of our street there is a paid parking that costs 1€/hour which we recommend given its proximity. Also warn that in Ibiza there is parking in the blue zone street which means that it is paid during the day but not at night but this is more difficult to find any free space. Likewise, our street, even if it is a blue zone, as there is no parking meter, is not paid Also once in Ibiza we can explain in more detail if you have any questions or if you want any other place to park just in case you need it. I hope I have resolved your doubts. Have a nice day. Sud Ibiza Suites

Dear guest, Thank you for booking at Sud Ibiza Suites. Unfortunately we can only arrange a private taxi. This will cost around 70 euros. I would suggest to take a normal taxi (15 euros). The hotel is 10 minutes away from the airport. You can also take a bus (line10) that will cost 3,50 euros a person. That will take you 20 minutes to arrive at the hotel. I hope to have informed you sufficiently. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Kind regards, Sud Ibiza Suites
