Everything about our stay was fantastic. Firstly the property sits above the old town - and has magical views everywhere and equally super quiet (important in late night Ibiza!). We stayed for 6 nights and our room (we went for a slightly larger room in the T building) had a beautiful view over the whole port and a big sized bathroom (towels super plush).
Second the breakfast room / terrace is amazing with views right over the port. The food was super fresh (eggs, salmon, avocados, delish fruit & yoghurt) and could not have asked for us (we had breakfast included).
Third the pool area is tranquil and so peaceful (after the night before). Sun for almost the whole day (a previous review said there wasn’t which seems odd) - although with some olive trees for those wanting shade. Great wagyu burgers (and cocktails!).
Fourth - location is about a 7-8 minute walk up steps from the old gates / old town - pretty easy really (even after a few drinks). Although they do provide a golf buggy shuttle through to mid night. Could not fault the location given the peace it provided.
Lastly the hotel is set in three-separate buildings - all old beautifully renovated - we stayed in the T building and it was a secret hide-way. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. Thank you - we will return.

Room Tip: We loved the T building. Car parking is probably not ideal. Taxis were super easy to arrange.

My daughter and I stayed here for 2 days and would come back anytime. We were looking for a hotel close to the city to spend 2 days in the old town.

During our stay we can only say positive things about the hotel staff, e.g. booking the only parking space for our rental car online before arrival or picking up the luggage from the room on departure within 2 minutes. A free shuttle to the harbor is offered on demand/WhatsApp.

While we were checked in, we were served a great cocktail in the small bar in front of the hotel.

The hotel is an old monastery - the charm was also reflected in our room with unplastered walls and "unfortunately" small windows, which are probably due to the old purpose of the hotel. Great towels and bed linen! It is on a mountain, so you have to expect some stairs and climbing.

The pool was our favorite place, overlooking the bay of Ibiza. You also have the same incredible view at breakfast.

Mediterranean terraces form small oases in the hotel and invite you to linger.

All in all, highly recommended if you want to spend a few nice days in Ibiza Town and appreciate wonderful details, furnishings and atmosphere.

A fantastic hotel, located in the historic old town, just 5 mins walk to the cathedral. We went as a family and were blown away by the entrance and lobby and also the very spacious room. The place oozes history being part of an old monastery. Breakfast was really something to look forward to. Located just around the corner in the hotel restaurant, walking in you were greeted with open air views of the town and the harbour below. Breakfast was mediterranean in style, with the freshest orange juice, fresh croissants, selection of Spanish meats, cheeses and a choice of eggs. This was finished off with a huge bowl of fresh fruit. The two wonderful staff who serve breakfast Irenia and Andres made us have a bright start to the day and they deserve a very special mention as they are a great asset to this hotel. Nothing was too much trouble to make our stay a good one which included shuttle transport to and from the town and the airport. The prices are not cheap but this is reflected in the quality and extremely high standards throughout. The swimming pool area, resembles the garden of a Roman villa with a small swimming pool, with sun beds, cushions and beach type chairs. Some are placed beneath Olive trees to afford the shade. The pool area also has a bar where drinks and bar meals can be obtained and also around 8-pm there are magnificent views of the sunset. Our thanks to the hotel staff for a wonderful 4 days - we will return.

We turned up to hotel La Torre having paid a significant rate. After taking some time to check us in, we came to a room where you couldn’t turn around or even leave a suitcase with major mould all through the ceiling. We asked to change rooms as I’m sensitive to mould, we told no other rooms were available and to go somewhere else if we didn’t like it. So we did, but not before having confirmed that our deposit will be refunded. Several emails later and the money hasn’t turned up and I’m not getting any answers, it’s now been several weeks - do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. The pool is ok, location not great and hard to get to and service terrible.

This extremely comfortable hotel is located in the old town, close to the cathedral. The neighborhood is very quiet and full of charm. A free shuttle service allows you to get back to the hotel and avoid climbing on foot after each walk in the city center. The team is extremely friendly.

This is the absolute best hotel I've ever stayed in. I am a loyal Hyatt member and this SLH lives up to the hype. The second we arrived we were warmly greeted and while the receptionist was doing our check-in paperwork, we were escorted to the restaurant for a free welcome drink. The drivers that drove us to our tower room and down to the city are just so so friendly.

The pictures of the pool don't even do it justice, it's such a beautiful spot. There is a little club hidden in the restaurant that has the nicest staff as well. They will drive you down to town and back. The receptionist will give you a whatsapp number to text when you're ready to be picked up and they arrive 10 minutes later. The best service!

The location, staff, rooms, location can't be beat.

An exceptional experience. Thank you very much to the whole team for allowing us to spend a few days disconnecting!

The room we booked, a suite with terrace, has harbour views and a super relaxing terrace.

Breakfast is a must, full of high quality products and great variety.

We will definitely repeat when we return to Ibiza, a 4* with 5* service

We stayed here 6/5/24 for 3 nights, it was beautiful, we were upgraded to a deluxe suite, what a wonderful surprise, this boutique hotel is a hidden gem and would most certainly recommend, the view from our suite was perfect. Beautiful location, the staff are amazing and nothing is too much trouble, they taxi you up and down the hill if you don’t want to walk it. We used this service on the first day but then walked as the paved streets are so beautiful, the walk back up isn’t too challenging. They use WhatsApp to communicate, you can message them anything and they literally respond immediately. We used this a lot for restaurant recommendations and advice. The pool area is outstanding to. Everything about this hotel is 100%.

Be aware that staying at La Torre del Canonigo starts with a wait at a public bus stop in an IKEA parking lot for the hotel transfer, which takes over 20 minutes to reach the hotel. While the hotel informs guests about the parking situation, they significantly underplay how long and inconvenient this journey actually is. The wait is long and sets a negative tone before even arriving at this so-called "Small Luxury Hotel."

The real issue, however, was the shockingly poor customer service. Front desk attendant Javier, rather than taking the opportunity to correct the situation and improve the customer experience, created a hostile atmosphere. In all my years of traveling, I have never encountered such a hostile and unhelpful employee. Javier's attitude was far from solution-oriented; his suggestion that "perhaps you should stay elsewhere" was particularly offensive and unprofessional.

To make matters worse, our hotel room overlooked a construction site, which further diminished the overall experience.

Overall, it was a very terrible customer service experience that overshadowed my stay. A positive attitude goes a long way in resolving issues, but unfortunately, that was completely lacking here.

You will be charmed by unique location and unique staff of this place from the very first second and you won’t be happy to leave. For sure, Ibiza city is a party party party place but this hotel is hidden in the walls of the old town and offers you all tranquility you’d need, exceptional view form the top of the top, very helpful and serving staff, extraordinary literie… breakfast on terasse with personalized service and with the (almost) sunrise and view on Ibiza port… and then, you can just hang out at the pool (without saying on the almost highest place of the city) or walk down within few minutes to discover Ibiza historical center. I wish you just love it as we did !

Dear mrs. Heather, We do not have parking at the hotel but it is allowed to park in the neighbour hood. Dalt Vila is a restricted area to drive, so we have to give to our customers a speacial permit given by the council to park. If you decide to book with us, it is important that you ask for them, as we can book one for you, because we can give them just under availability. I hope all this information fits you well. Regards,
