THB Los Molinos delights many with its prime location, close to beaches and Ibiza Town attractions. The hotel's amenities, especially the sea-view rooms and delectable breakfast, receive high praise, as does the inviting pool area. While the atmosphere is generally welcoming, some guests feel certain areas could use more ambiance. Opinions on value vary, with some guests satisfied with the costs and others pointing out additional expenses and room quality concerns. The cleanliness and friendly staff, however, consistently earn positive reviews.

Very good hotel that we recommend: very well located a little out of the way with magnificent gardens, yucca palm trees, superb vegetation, very beautiful swimming pool and extraordinary view. You can go to town by taxi for €7 or on foot 15 to 20 minutes
a downside the swimming pool at the beginning of April was not heated too bad...
The nearby beach is average. ...
The rooms are good, rather small, modern, clean but a little impersonal. no photo or lithograph on the walls, very beautiful terrace with sea view, what we had asked for.
The bathroom is minimalist, large walk-in shower, toilet in the bathroom, 1 sink with countertop without storage underneath, too bad...for a ****
The hotel is not too big so pleasant.
The restaurant is excellent even for half board, table service and cuisine worthy of a gastro restaurant. You can also have lunch or dinner on a terrace with snacks or cooked meals. Breakfast is very good but served inside with large bay windows and views of the swimming pool, gardens and the sea
The staff is very pleasant.
There is an indoor swimming pool with jacuzzi.
We will return to this hotel if we return to Ibiza

Excellent choice in Ibiza city. We paid €163.3 booked through booking for half board. Double room with sea view. The breakfast buffet is made up of top quality products. Superior to the breakfasts of a standard 4-star hotel. Very good attention from the staff. Exquisite coffees with all kinds of milks and vegetable drinks. Various natural juices, live grill, etc etc. a very good full breakfast option. The Pitiuso restaurant for dinner with half board offers à la carte dishes of fantastic quality, on par with high-end restaurants. A dinner like the one included can cost around €55-60 per person (drinks not included) and is included in the chosen option. We would have liked to repeat the experience but unfortunately we only had a reservation for one night. Fantastic garden and pool, closed in December and gym area, indoor pool (small), jacuzzi and sauna included in the price. The location is fantastic for the views, about 15 minutes walking you are in the center of Ibiza, the road is not hard. There is a shortcut that they tell you at reception, which allows you to enjoy the views of the wall and the sea. All the staff are fantastic and attentive, cleaning, restaurant, maintenance... The reception staff is very involved, professional and close. Excellent recommendations to make the most of the day, eat, etc. Service of 10. If we return to Ibiza it will be our first choice.

With the lure of obscenely cheap flights from Manchester (ÂŁ16.99 each way- good old Ryanair!) we decided to pay a little more for a hotel as the weather looked like it would be nice. We booked direct with the hotel and got a sea view room (420) with breakfast. It cost 404 euros for two nights.

Definitely go for a sea view and ask for a high floor (there are only 4 floors). The views are beautiful but if you had a room on the first or second I would imagine the large palm trees would block the view quite a lot. We had requested a high floor and were on floor 3. Gorgeous view but would have been even better anther floor up.

The room was great. All you could need nice private balcony to watch the sunset lovely powerful shower. The only thing missing was milk for the tea coffee but there is a supermarket right across the street so not really a big deal and especially not if you have breakfast included.

The breakfast was amazing everything you could possibly imagine and more and well worth paying extra for. On both mornings we had lovely omelettes cooked in front of you. Slight gripes (for my hubby) were the lack of cereal options especially as adult only because there were things like coco pops but no muesli for the two days we were there. Lovely coffee options and the orange juice was to die for!

The pool area is lovely with plenty of beds and free pool towels and gorgeous outlook. If you go out of the side gate at the poolside you can wander down to a little beach and have a swim in the sea from there. Would be perfect if the hotel had some beds on a platform overlooking the sea. All in all a lovely stay and would definitely come back. One good tip is that you can get a water taxi to the old town for less than 6 euros

Dear Joanne, Thank you very much for sharing your excellent comment with the description of your stay. We are very happy that you enjoyed your holidays this October, where you can find a quieter and less crowded Ibiza. Good choice. It's great that you enjoyed our brunch breakfast. We regret that you did not find our variety of cereals, nuts and mueslis displayed in our healthy corner. We will try to give more visibility to this area. We are also glad that you were able to relax in the pool and in general in all the hotel facilities. Thank you again for your comment. It helps us a lot to continue on this path. We hope to see you soon. Kind regards

Excellent location, pool area very nice , note there is not a beach with this hotel
As such but you could access the sea from rock below , local beach was a 10 min walk though , you can also get a car or taxi to other beaches for a decent price
We didn’t eat at hotel for breakfast or for dinner , for breakfast it was €22 a day , seems crazy when you’re surrounded by places to have breakfast locally for much cheaper price , we like to eat out at different restaurants at night so didn’t eat there but we were told it was good .
We did have lunch around the pool a couple of times and it was very good !
Only gripes with this hotel are the wifi , it just knocks you out all the time and had to keep logging back in and you can’t really get wifi around the pool which was annoying
The aircon in the room wasn’t great either
It was clean and quiet and we enjoyed our stay though
If you book jet2 do the flight and hotel separately, you can get a taxi for €13 euros from the airport and jet2 cost fir their transfer is around £160 ( I tried to claim it back as was never goi g to sit on coach and go around the houses when I have been to this resort before and knew it was so cheap to just get quick taxi , literally 15 mins drive )
Our flight to Ibiza was at 6:55 we were on a sunbed by 12, room wasn’t ready until 3pm though so be prepared to get changed in the toilets when you get there if an early flight !

Dear Travelsniffer, Thank you very much for sharing the experience of your stay with us. We very much appreciate the description of the area and the advantages you make in your comments. They are very useful for the entire Tripadvisor community. We hope that the next time you visit us you can try our brunch service. It is not just any breakfast. It is a brunch service from 7:30 in the morning until 12:00 where you can eat and drink whatever you want. Only top quality products made with care. However, if you prefer a simpler breakfast, the reduced breakfast in the lobby bar is also available from 5:30 to 10:30 daily. It is perfect for those who fly very early or if you prefer to drink a coffee and eat something lighter. Thank you very much again for your words and we hope to see you soon. Best regards,

There are some really positive aspects to this Hotel, but when weighed up against the negative aspects there are not enough to make us want to return.
Positive aspects:
* Location is great next to Figueretas Beach and the numerous restaurants which snake alongside. In the opposite direction it’s a 18-20 walk into Ibiza Old Town or a €8-€10 taxi ride to Ibiza Port (which reception will order for you).
* Breakfast is really very good with a large selection for all tastes and dietary preferences.
* Gardens, the pool and pool area are incredibly well maintained, just a gorgeous place to enjoy. They are without doubt the best aspect of the hotel.
* Good size balcony - we had a sea view room on a higher floor to enjoy to lovely views.
* The members of staff are on the whole very friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming.
Negative aspects:
* Bedrooms - Previous reviews mention the size of the bedrooms, they are quite narrow, for us it was the size of the beds that was poor (singles pushed together). If you are taller than 6 foot/182cm you will struggle to sleep without your feet hanging off the end of the bed. The other main issue with the bedrooms is the lack of sound proofing between the rooms to the sides and above. We expected some noise with people returning from nights out but to be woken so regularly in the early hours (3-4am) with what sounded like elephants walking up and down and drawers shutting was crazy. Our neighbours weren’t trying to be noisy but the lack of sound proofing just amplified the sounds.
* Pool staff - the pool bar people were great a real asset to the Hotel, unfortunately we found the older Lifeguard guy in the red T-shirt just creepy and a bit lecherous. You couldn’t help but notice him staring at the ladies from behind his dark sunglasses, walking up and down and just staring! He knew what he was doing. It was quite disconcerting and not professional at all.

The hotel is in an excellent location, about 10 mins walk from to the old time. The hotel has it's own little stretch of beach and you then start to walk along the beach if you so wish from within the hotel pool area. You can easily get around if you want to visit other parts of the island, the main bus station for the area is about 10-15 mins walk away depending on your pace.

If your room is on the street side, you may find it a little noisey with traffic from the road in the early hours.. The other side faces the pool, it depends on how much time you will spend in your hotel room to decide whether it is worth paying the extra for the pool/sea view.

I stayed on a half board basis. The spread at breakfast is amazing with so much choices; cereals, milk, bread, juices then you may feel like you are at a supermarket with so much to choose from. There is even a bottle of 'cava' on ice you would like. Hot food consist of the traditional English style items plus more, there are many cheeses to choose as if you are at the deli counter and then there are the pastries as well.

Dinner was 'a la carte'; consisting of the aperitif for the day, you can have starter, main & dessert. There were a range of options to choose from (meat, fish, vegetarian, low calorie). The food was very plentiful on the plate. I felt very pampered whilst having dinner. The staff were very attentive and checked in often to see if everything was ok with your meal.

The hotel makes great efforts to help the environment but providing shower gel within a permanent holding instead of providing miniature bottles.

Sun lounges availability can get very busy, but I was fortunate that I only looked to chill out close to the evening when there were a few more lounges.

The gym area is small and basic, but enough equipment in there to help keep you trim. The spa area consists of jacuzzi, sauna & steam room. Not very busy when I was there in the evenings.

The staff at the hotel were very helpful and friendly.

A suggestion would be to advise guests of things they can possible do whilst on the island, provide a mini map of how to get to the old town and bus station. I knew what I wanted to do on my visit here but I think this would be an encouraging bonus.

I would definitely look to return here again.

Great hotel in a great location - best of both worlds right on the ocean and a path directly onto the boardwalk at figurettes as well as being an easy ten min walk into old town. Our room was a great size with a courtyard out the back. They provide little toiletries bag that contain a comb, sewing kit and toothbrush and toothpaste. My only compliant is that they don’t have conditioner or body lotion in the bathroom and I wasn’t a fan of the body wash so I guess it wasn’t a big deal as probably wouldn’t have liked the smell anyway. The pool area is great. Staff on the front desk were lovely and very helpful. Cleaning staff also very friendly and did a good job. Definitely stay here again.

Day 1 we really wernt impressed, checked in and we were given what can only be described as a cave room. There was no natural light and on the veranda it felt like you were part of an underground car park, there was a canopy over this so you couldn’t see out at all… very strange but we asked to move as this wasn’t what we booked or like the images on the web. We then moved to floor 5 and had a window at least but views over to a hostel, in this room our A/C didn’t work. After much discussion with maintenance and reception I managed to speak to the manager and they moved us to another room. This time with stunning views across the bay. The A/C was better here but not great, I’d describe it as slight air cooling. The power goes off when you leave the room and there is no way to keep it on so when you come in it takes ages to slightly reduce the heat in the room. I wouldn’t market this hotel as having A/C. Once we moved rooms though we were happy and the hotel is actually really good, pool is beautiful and a perfect temp. Food at breakfast… you couldn’t ask for more and the fact that there is an unlimited breakfast bar after the main breakfast til 12 is really good. Food and drinks at the pool were good and very reasonable price. One point - take a hairdryer, even the powerful ones from reception are useless! Would stay again :)

We booked a 4 night stay in a seaview room (which is a must!) and were really pleased with our choice. We would have stayed another night but the hotel was full at the start of the UK first May bank holiday weekend.

A good room, fabulous balcony and sea views overlooking the palm trees and beautiful hotel gardens and pool and beyond to Formentera in the distance. We miss that view!

Full breakfast was extra at 22.5 euros per person but we opted for the smaller continental selection on the 3rd floor at Reception level for 7.5 euros per person. This was great value and plenty of choice and good quality – freshly squeezed fruit juices, fresh fruit, cold meats and cheeses, pastries, yoghurts and made to order coffees/teas.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming and everyone greeted you with a smile.

The pool area is lovely – nice and quiet for the first couple of days and then busy later in the week - sunloungers are so comfortable. The pool unfortunately was very cold which was disappointing but there is a small, heated indoor pool and jacuzzi inside too.

A lovely stay and would definitely return – our only criticism is the open-plan lounge/bar area on the floor of reception isn’t a cosy area and feels more like a waiting room, with large screen TV and football showing etc. We did have drinks there one night and played cards but felt the area / TV needed some screening to make it a cosier area for drinks/cocktails.

Enjoyed an excellent 9 day break at Los Molinos in a sea view room. We booked early and got a great rate on half board fully intending to pop out for dinner if the hotel menu wasn't up to much. However food at breakfast (buffet) and dinner (a la carte) have both been good.
Staff are universally friendly and helpful and help me to practice my spanish. There are bars and restaurants close by and the promenade is an easy walk from the hotel away from the centre.
The best part of the hotel is possibly the pool and garden area which is a lovely spot to spend lazy days enjoying the sun.
The lounger system seems to work well with the area opening up at 10am after a very thorough clean by the maintenance team. Some confusion over smoking around the pool area as this seems to be totally prohibited (GREAT!) but not always enforced unless you comment to staff. Perhaps removal of the old ash trays on the bins would make it clear that smoking is verboten (per the pool signs).
All in all a great holiday hotel (sea view rooms have a significantly better outlook and high floors 4 or 5 are best) and we will probably return if we come back to Ibiza.
