The guesthouse is divided into two halves. I was lucky enough to be in a single room on the reception side; the only guest on that particular night. So the shared bathroom....wasn't shared! The room gave onto the Passeig de Vara de Rey; nice view, and evening sun. Lia, the owner, is a fount of useful info about EVERYTHING Ibizan,...

The Vara Del Rey Casa De Huespedes guest house is perfectly situated in Ibiza town and I was allocated room no 3 which allowed for brilliant views of city walls and catedral de Santa Maria....

My first impression of the VDR Hostal was that the room was not as nice as the photo but actually I grew over 4 days to really like my room. It is furnished in a shabby chic Asian traveller fashion with large four poster bed and I was lucky to get the en suite bathroom. I was concerned to note...

Lovely place in a strategic spot: close to the port, old city, nice tapas places n good cafè. Wifi and air conditioning. Very wellcoming thanks to Lia, the amazing landlady who will make you feel home! She is always available with her precious advice on beaches, markets n all that you'd like to know about Eivissa. Very clean.

A lovely welcome, a great on suite room. A perfect spot right in the middle of town on a a lively square with lovely restaurants. Don't let the fact that it has no lift put you off (unless you do have mobility problems). It really is not an issue. Great REPOS bakery a couple of doors away for breakfast. Very...

Communal showers and cramped room detract from an exceptional holiday experience. No lift to 4th floor... Very friendly staff. Ideal location for Ibiza Old Town, but would probably go out of my way not to return to this place.
