We want to congratulate you for the visible change this year: a clean, quiet and organized Spa, the new staff is really friendly, the director Joya told us ’ about the upcoming renovations, we are looking forward to seeing the new Spa. Thank you!
We travel a lot and breakfast is the best we’ve ever had.
The staff are friendly without being fake and the service is outstanding.
The rooms are quiet - no door banging from the corridor or furniture moving from the rooms above. The air con works well and the beds are so comfortable.
Special mention to Ceasar at the top pool, (he deserves to come first place in the staff ‘raffle’ - if any managers are reading this ;-)
All the staff are a credit to the hotel and truly make it an unforgettable stay.
See you next year!
The breakfast is amazing, absolutely top quality with everything you can think of on offer. They even bring oysters round the tables for you to try some mornings. Lots of things (omelettes, crepes etc) are cooked fresh to your specification and then brought to your table. There is champagne available too!
The icing on the cake for us was when we were due to attend a big music concert on the island. Taxis are very rare in Ibiza! After we had waited for a few minutes for one to arrive, the hotel offered us free use of their Bentley to get to the concert! Of course, we accepted and arrived in some style. I have never had this anywhere else in the world.
If you are even considering this hotel, please book it, I can guarantee you will be impressed.

The porters, the front desk staff were friendly but efficient.
The pool terrace ding was excellent and the ambient surroundings so wonderfully quiet and the food superb with again the servicing staff attentive and friendly.
This is the kind of service you crave, not fawning, but graceful, helpful and wonderfully friendly.
The breakfast are a work of art. From the beautiful bread selection sliced to order, the cold meat and cheese deli, the same, and the pre-pared cold meat selection all individually portion wrapped.
The coffee or any other beverage is served to order and great.
The pastries are something else as is the crepes to order, although, there is only so much a person can eat, but the choices are so special.
The breakfast room staff who greet you are all wonderfully friendly and they are all a “well oiled” machine, clearing dishes, clearing tables and everything running like clockwork.
The room facilities are special as are the toilet supplies.
Definitely the only place to go in Ibiza Town, without a doubt.

From the first greeting by the friendly and efficient reception staff , to the beautiful hotel interior and the immaculate and generously appointed bedrooms.
The two pools are immaculate with polite attentive staff catering to your every needs.
The breakfast is absolutely exceptional and not to be missed...!!
Completely deserved of the 5 star lux rating..... Enjoy.
Chilled relaxed atmosphere
Great Central Location
Walking distance to everything
Courtesy car to airport
Adult pool area for quiet relaxation
The view from my €1k+/night room was a stream that seemed to consist mostly of sewage, against a backdrop of a construction site that looked like a warzone shortly after a bombing raid.
The iced coffee I ordered for breakfast came with a dead mosquito nicely nestled at the bottom, beautifully concealed so that I wasn't able to spot it until after I drank it. The waitress explained that "these things happen", which I took to mean "these things happen a lot here". Still, the mosquito was a much more pleasant surprise than my bill.
Do you think you can order anything besides pool snacks at a 5 star hotel? Don't be ridiculous. Do you think they would charge anything but a markup on an already over-inflated price when the hotel's only restaurant is closed? Don't be ridiculous.
If you absolutely insist on being smack in the centre of town, then I can see an argument for sleeping on the street. It still wouldn't sway me to recommend staying at the Gran.

From the friendly, smooth and efficient check in process right at the start of the stay, things just got better and better.
We stayed in a junior suite, which was amazing. So clean and spacious. There was a bath tub in the room, and a huge bed with really soft bedding. There was a wide range of toiletries supplied in the rooms. As were bathrobes and slippers.
We were shown to our room and given a tour of the facilities by a really helpful bellboy.
The pool areas were lovely and clean, and the staff very attentive. Good and drink at the pool restaurants/bar were very good.
The hotel is in a great location, just a few minute walk to the marina. And about 10/15 minutes in a taxi from the airport.
The breakfast was phenomenal! So much choice, and great quality.
We visited the hotel casino one evening, which had a wide range of games available.
We asked for a taxi booking one evening to go to Nobu restaurant, and we’re offered a lift in the hotels Bentley, which was a nice touch.
The only negative feedback I can give is with regards to the building work ongoing at Zuma, a new restaurant due to open in the hotel grounds. Our balcony overlooked this building site which was disappointing, and the work started early and continued till late most days during our stay. We were not warned of this prior to the stay.
After checking out of the Ibiza Gran, we continued our Ibiza trip by staying a couple of nights in another 5 star hotel in Santa Eulalia. The difference in hotels was unreal - we can’t even explain how much better the Ibiza Gran was!
"We had a room facing the back, our three girls had a magnificent suite with its own pool - our room was amazing but pool facing next time."Read full review
