Been here in various occasions. With couple and with family. Love the location, service, very clean and well maintained. Access to the beach and restaurants is great. Breakfast and amenities too. Will be back again soon.

Hotel's Favourite
Stayed over the weekend of Feb. 4th. As before, we were not dissapointed with the excellent service of its staff. In particular, we appreciate Jaime Seda at the front desk who was always attentive, professional and going the extra mile. We also enjoyed the great location, local gastronomy with fresh fish, and gorgeous beaches and scenery. Will return soon.

My family loves this resort and raves about it often. It's been their go-to for quick getaways for years now. I was glad to finally spend sone time there and experience it for myself. While it's not upgraded or luxurious, it's ample and basically has everything you need. I was satisfied with the front desk, small railway style room, amenities, the grounds, and the location. It's right off El Combate beach, has its own restaurant, parking, pool, basketball hoop, sand volleyball, a couple of hangout areas. It also has a great restaurant/bar down the street called Annie's place that has good food and an incredible beach view. I thoroughly w opted myself and would definitely return.

Response from Xavier Ramirez, General Manager at Combate Beach Resort
Responded 1 week ago
Dear guest, Thank you for your visit and for your wonderful review. Without knowing it, you described our hotel with our internal motto. During recruiting, we always tell our interviewees that we don't aspire to be the biggest or the most luxurious hotel, but that we aspire to be known as the cleanest hotel, and the hotel with the best service. If our prospects feel that they can be aligned with those two goals, then they cam be hired. We are happy you enjoyed your stay, and that your family is part of our repeat guests. We hope to welcome you back soon. Sincerely, Xavier A. Ramírez General Manager

Very clean and very easy check in. Air conditioner worked amazing, shower was clean and nice hot water. Easy access to beautiful beach. Inexpensive paddle board rentals right there. Take a walk on the beach to the left and it’s like paradise 🤩🌴. Outdoor restaurant called Annie’s place was just a short walk-fun and delicious 👍💟 This place is great for a quick hit 1 or 2 days max and we kept it moving to another area. Perfect

This is a great place to stay, very clean and relaxing. Great customer service and very courteous staff. Did not experience any issues with my stay. Pool, beaches, and close by restaurants that were limited due to seasonal. But still was a great stay.

Be cautious. They do not allow any changes to your reservation once you've booked, even with lots of notice. And it is significantly overpriced for what it is. This is basically a cheerful motel with no actual amenities, $4 for weak black …

This Parador is well located near some of PR’s most beautiful beaches. There is direct beach access to beautiful Combate beach along a path right behind the hotel. There is secure on site parking. The pool area is simple, clean and well maintained. The hotel lobby, grounds and rooms are spotless. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The on-site restaurant is open for breakfast and makes perfect sunny side eggs. Also make sure to get a glass of the award winning sangria that you can order at lobby. So, why only 4 stars? The room was spacious, sparse and very clean, but a few minor things could be better - inadequate lighting in the bathroom, a noisy plastic mattress protector and hard pillows. Also we pretty much had the resort to ourselves, so it was very quiet and pleasant. It’s pretty compact though, so it may be much less so when at capacity and when all the surrounding guest houses and rental units are full during high season. I recommend walking and enjoying El Combate and surrounds - it’s gorgeous! Visit La Playuela - it’s stunning! Visit Playa Buyé - it’s amazing! Visit Boquerón & Playa Santa - they are favorites for a reason! As for food? There’s good stuff nearby, but about 20min away, try Roberto, Boho Beach Club Restaurant and Hacienda Perichi 😋.

This is a very well run, clean, resort. One of the best places I’ve stayed. The staff is very friendly, informative, and really go out of their way to help. There are rental fees for chairs, etc, which is a drawback, but overall it’s a great place to stay.

Perfect location within minutes walk to beach and restaurants, clean and comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful staff, beautiful pool area. Negatives are no coffee maker or ice so you have to purchase and pillows were hard which doesn't work for us. I had a hard time deciding between 4 and 5 stars due to these issues but we explored the area and we found nowhere we would have preferred to stay so we would stay here again. Also we had the king room with balcony expecting a nice view but we just looked out over the street. But it was nice having the extra room with table and chairs so it was a worthwhile extra cost.
