Dd not stay at the hotel but ate at the restaurant. Had to the regular small poutine and friends had the large western poutine. Both were fabulous and well worth the money. The service was great very welcoming and friendly.
This is very much a northern restaurant with a northern clientele and rugged conditions. The food was much better than I had anticipated. The Arctic char was great; the breakfasts were substantial and good value.
I find this place nice, its clean theres a restaurant in the same building which cooks good food. I also found it good that the hotel is separated from the main public. The one thing i found that needs addressed is it needs better air...More
There are only a couple of places to eat in town, and the Wild Wolf is now closed.
The restaurant at the Inns North is "hearty", and suitable for the climate! Portions are substantial, and their home-made foods (Lasagna, meat loaf) are really pretty good....More
I did not stay at the hotel, but the restaurant was my regular Friday lunch hang out. The arctic char wrap with sweet potato fries are the BEST and I would say a must try in Rankin. After discovering the tundra, stop in for lunch...More
