Very modern hotel located in the fair area, in front of the entrance to the pavilions. The rooms are very spacious, clean and with attention to detail. From the twentieth floor of the room you could enjoy a spectacular view of the city. Breakfast is rich and varied, with fresh sweet and savory foods. There is a large underground paid car park available to guests, €17 per night, if you wish you can leave your car in the surrounding streets. Europa Fira Metro Station is a 2-minute walk from reception. There are various restaurants and clubs in the surrounding area. I highly recommend it.

We stayed a week at this hotel, which is more than 5 kilometers from the center, but very well served by bus and metro to both the airport and the center. Particular structure and very high with a nice view of the city. The nice spacious and clean room equipped with a safe, a large TV, a kettle for tea and coffee, too bad that the last few days lacked sugar. A small flaw the hair dryer, which works perfectly and also gives off a lot of air, but they embedded it inside the drawer , with a short wire that becomes very uncomfortable , also you have to hold down a small button to make it work that after a while 'causes annoyance- About the bathroom I was a little' disappointed, not very clean, there were brown stains on the tiles and the door, found on arrival and have never been cleaned in a week, I attach photos. Also missing the toilet brush and sometimes it can be embarrassing, let's say that the cleaning is absolutely to be improved. Breakfast is good and plentiful with everything , sweet, savory, juices, fruit, in my opinion nothing is missing and the common rooms are very clean. Inside there is also a gym and a Spa , I can not say whether for a fee or not because we did not use it. Let's say that in my opinion for the price and the stars of this hotel some aspects of the rooms should be taken care of better

Hotel Europa Fira is located outside Barcelona city centre, but right next to a metro station. The quiet district boasts large office complexes, restaurants and a shopping centre.
The hotel, which was often used as a conference hotel in our 5 days, is modernly equipped, the rooms functional, bright and on our floor (14) with a mega view.
The room was small and the hair dryer was adventurously connected (small electric shock). For this there were daily new towels, toothbrushes and fresh drinking water.
Breakfast was very good, rich and ZT with regional food.
Waiters and service staff did not speak German, but spoke good English.
For a city break, the hotel was perfect.
Overall a VERY GOOD! đź‘Ť

Beautiful Modern Architecturally Pleasing Hotel. Great location - close to public transportation, sights, shopping, restaurants and airport. Rooms are spacious but TV is placed in an awkward location resulting in one bumping in it when accessing the window, safe and open closet. The furniture was comfortable and water was provided along with a mini bar with drinks and snacks for a charge. Front desk personnel was very accommodating and knowledgeable about the area. However, overall customer service is poor - the first morning we had to wait 75 minutes for an iron and board and that was also after several calls. Additionally on our second night we waited over 90 minutes for some clean towels again after several calls - with no explanation or apologies. Cleanliness - the room was far from clean as there was a used cotton swab on the floor next to the desk in the room. And then there was the body fluids next to the toilet along with several long strands of hair. Luckily we travel with our own disinfectant for occasions like this but this is not okay especially in post pandemic world.

The hotel is within walking distance of a metro station. You can take either the bus or the train to the airport. We took a bus to the location when we checked in and took the train to the airport upon check out. The front desk agent gave me a complimentary room upgrade. I think because she noticed it was my birthday when I checked in. The hotel offers complimentary gummy candies and marshmallows in addition to water with lime in the lobby. There is a bar and a restaurant on site. Room service is also available. The hotel was clean. The staff was very nice and professional. The food from the restaurant was good. The location is not in the heart of the city but it was a good value as it was very close to public transportation. I felt this was a good value for my money. I have nothing bad to report about this hotel.

I stayed at this hotel 4 times in 2021 as I has 2 cruises departing from Barcelona, every trip was perfect and the price was very reasonable. I was able to check in very early on the days after the cruises which was very helpful and was a serious benefit
It is a very easy to find hotel as it is a red skyscraper while everything in the area is standard concerete grey
The first thing that you notice when you go into your room is that the bathroom is the main focal point in the room as it is a glass room in the middle of the room. The only issue I had was that in each of the 4 rooms I stayed in the floor of the bathroom got very wet as the shower section doesn't seem to be sealed to prevent the water from going into the main bathroom area
The hotel was busy enough but there was no noise so it was a perfect place to stay before and after a cruise
As for location the hotel is convenient for Barcelona city and the airport, it is around 2 mins walk from the Europa Fira metro station which serves the L9 Sud metro line as well as a number of outer suburban services which also go into Barcelona city centre. The Gran Via 2 shopping centre is around 5 minutes walk and it has everything you could need, there is also an Ikea next door if you want some Swedish food

Dirty room, smelly shower. Stood on dirty toenail! Water leaked from shower across room to toilet. Breakfast staff closed main seating, to set-up for lunch, 40mins early or asked you not to sit there.

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While I wish you had a better experience, it is feedback like this that we learn from and use to improve. We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it's apparent in this case that we fell short. If you give us a chance to earn back your trust, I can assure you that we will do our best to give you the great hotel experience that so many of our guests have grown so fond of. Sincerely, Staff Hotel Porta Fira

As per the title. Visited several times but this is perhaps the last :( The location is ideal for visits to the Fira but the passage of time is starting to take its toll on the structure: slightly worn-in room interiors, the same goes for the common areas, monotonous breakfast. My assessment also includes the exaggerated increase during trade fair periods (prices multiplied up to three times compared to the past) Another thing that I didn't like is that they manually note down (at Security level it's a serious jack) the credit card number (with the security number too!!!) for damages (usually hotels of this rating carry out prior authorization of the paper without noting anything)

We stopped for one night to watch a football game on our way home to London. Rooms are spacious - slightly odd bathroom set up getting out of the shower straight into the bedroom. Parking is a little tight but enough space for our car and small bike trailer. We stored our bikes in the hotel’s left luggage which was helpful and gave us peace of mind. Breakfast was good - mixture of hot and continental items. Staff were very friendly and were kind in helping us wheel our bikes back to our car. We took a taxi from outside the hotel to the Olympic Stadium to watch the football and we walked back - it’s a long walk but we stopped off at a few bars along the way. It felt safe but gets very quiet as you get closer to the hotel as it’s outside the centre.

I stayed here for one night with my family, after flying into Barcelona, prior to a Mediterranean cruise from the city's port. It is in a convenient location for a stopover, about half way between the airport and the cruise terminal (about 15 mins by road from each).
The property itself felt modern and comfortable with nice decor and furnishings. We were more than happy with the family room, which again, was modern, clean and spacious, with a king size bed plus two singles. Our room on the 24th floor afforded great views of the surrounding area.
We found that it was a short walk to some nearby bars, restaurants and fast food places and there was a Metro station nearby, which would be handy if you have more time to explore.
The breakfast was very good, with a large choice of hot and cold food, which was all fresh and tasty. In fact, my wife said that the doughnuts are the best she has ever tasted!
There are other alternative hotels if you want to be closer to the city and it's popular sights and attractions, but I would definitely recommend this hotel for a similar short stopover.
