We booked this hotel via last minute.com. There isn't much around the hotel but the transport links were great. We had booked a room with a bath which we didn't get. The fridge began leaking at the end of the trip also. Unfortunately the pool was closed for the whole week we were there, as was the wellness centre. The staff were always polite and helpful with enquiries we had.
We felt the hotel lacked the basics that we expected from a hotel- sometimes in the evening the bar wasn't open when it should be/we asked for a corkscrew and clean glasses and were told they couldn't get them til the following day as the bar was closed etc.
It was a fair (ish) standard for what we paid but its not a hotel I'd revisit or recommend booking if the price was higher.

This is a 4* hotel run like a cheap travelodge. They desperately need to do some basic maintenance. Everyone had difficulties opening the room doors because the locks are faulty. The in room safe was locked when I arrived and after they opened it and I placed my belongings in it I then couldn’t open it again.
Breakfast was disappointing with fake sweetened orange juice - your average local bar in Spain can do better than that.

Arrived late night as checked in very quickly. Staff always pleasant on the desk whenever we entered or left.

Room very basic but functional, beds were ok but nothing special. Fixtures, bedside tables etc quite dated and could do with upgrading.

Decor in the rooms could do with some work, curtains had some small stains on them, walls marked and scuffed.

Did end up with mosquitos in the room despite not opening the window, would recommend getting some repellent as was fairly irritating once bitten.

Breakfast expensive for the offering, we went out to the nearby complex which has a range of options, Ikea close too.

We didn't spend too much time in the hotel, if we were planning on spending a lot of time in there, would probably look for something else in the area, however it covered the bases for what we needed.

A quiet, clean and convenient location if you plan to visit Barcelona, just 10 minutes away from the closest subway station that links L'Hospitalet de Llobregat to Barcelona. We stayed there during the COVID-19 crisis and the quality of services wasn't affected in any way by the situation, we received daily room cleaning services, the food was very tasty and the staff very welcoming, friendly, polite and helpful, although not everyone was speaking English. However, they were all ready to quickly help and serve you. There's a nice park behind the Hotel where you can have a walk at night and a gas station just 3 minutes away where you can buy food at night when the nearby shopping centre is closed. We'll choose the same place to stay whenever we come back to visit Barcelona again. Highly satisfied!

lights plug sockets etc did not work, Got stuck in the elivator when going to get food.

food was appalling we ended up getting food from a nearby IKEA cafe.

we where also promised a refund for one of the nights stay but never recieved it.

the staff didn't even seem to care when we enlightened them to how we felt about their uncivilized attitude.

To use the swimming pool and spar you have to pay and you also may not be able to use it because only one person knows how to turn it on.

We read a lot of negative recent reviews about this hotel and felt the need to put our view across.

On arrival, a bit earlier than check in time, we were politely told to wIt a short while so as our room was ready, we took the opportunity to have a coffee and sandwich in the hotel cafe, this gave us the chance to see the facilities and meet staff, who were very welcoming and friendly.

Our room was on the top floor of this very open, light filled hotel with glass panelled lifts, room was a good size and cool where the air conditioning was on for our arrival. So clean and presentable, fully kitted with enough towels, soap and shampoo etc.

If like us, at the end of a tiring day visiting Barcelona, you like to catch up on a bit of news, you will need to know Spanish as English is limited on the channels available on the TV.

Showers were powerful and clean, AC unit controls easy to negotiate.

Breakfast was exceptional, catered for all with soy and almond milk choices also, pastries, fresh breads, fruit, cheese and sliced meats, various cereals, good selection coupled with various teas and coffees too.

Check out is at 12, but could leave bags behind check in desk and collect when nearer our flight.

Overall a great experience abd would definitely book again.

Hope this helps.

Osman.

We booked this hotel as part of a trip via lastminute.com
This hotel seemed ideal, being affordable and close to the airport but with transport links.
The reasons above are the positives.

At first glance This hotel seemed modern, inviting and described many amenities.

On arrival we approached the desk to check in where to male workers were.

Check in began and promptly until we was asked if single beds pushed together would be ok. This wasn’t much of an issue initially so we agreed to this. Then was asked which floor we would prefer out of 4 or 5.

We was given a key card for floor 4 and we approached our room.

When entering the room it was apparent that we had no Terrace or balcony which we had paid extra for. Not only this, the room definitely lacked any care and appreciation. There was a large white cube with a plug, which you would assume lights up. This was broken and stained. The shower and toilet area require maintenance.

The curtains of the room were effectively black out with a net layer.

There is a notice saying not to open the windows due to mosquito from the neighbouring building. This was a shame as you could not get any fresh air into the room and relied on a poorly working aircon.

After realising the room wasn’t what we had paid for, I approached the reception to explain to the workers that I was unhappy with this and explained what we had booked ( they already knew as it was written on the check in form we had to sign ).
I was then informed that there wasn’t any rooms with terraces or balcony available. I explained again that I had booked and paid for the upgrade but was spoken to quite rudely by the elder male who then handed me another room key for the second floor and was told to “ go check and swap rooms “ I went up to the new room to find it was exactly the same basic room with a lower view of the Italian restaurant next door.

I again made my way to the reception to explain I was upset and insulted that I was being palmed off. After explaining I was unhappy with the alternative and would like to get the room at the standard I had paid for, I was fobbed off with numerous excuses including “ we had a booking issue”( which I asked why each customer hadn’t been informed prior to arrival or even at booking ) and then was told I couldn’t have the room as I hadn’t paid directly to the hotel at their prices ect.

Realising I wasn’t getting anywhere with this employee, the second male stepped in who spoke fluent English tried to assist me and made a suggestion to the other male for another room at standard we had paid for but was told no by the rude and almost aggressive worker. Both males then started discussing this issue in Spanish clearly talking about me .

I again realised nothing would change as he was very unprofessional and unhelpful I decided to walk away. No alternatives or refund for the upgrade was offered.

We decided to make use of the hotel bar and requested two pints or bottles of Estella but was handed two different and more expensive drinks .

Such a shame as the hotel is in a great location and rooms are affordable.
I would suggest you avoid this hotel and stay at one of the hotels down the road and also nearer the amazing shopping center.

Andrique on reception is very pleasant. WI-FI in this hotel is quite bad, in fact most nights over the week there was no connection after 10PM. 10-15 minute walk to large shopping complex plenty of restaurants. Budget concious can go to Ikea restaurant on the way.

Worst hotel I've ever been too, rude staff who are really unhelpful and looked like they didn't want to be there when talking too,

Lift broke with me and my friend in it and were stuck for a good 3 hrs in till they finally called someone in the end to get us out and were really unapologetic when speaking too them.

Furthermore pools cold, sauna doesn't work neither does the steam room, gyms just creasy and just over all a sh*t hotel.

Looks good tho.
