Chris and Sheila hit the nail on the head with the Okanagan Oasis Bed & Breakfast. Staying there was the highlight of the trip for my partner and I. The views are stunning, the landscape is amazing, and Chris and Sheila are nothing short of spectacular hosts. They were so welcoming and shared their knowledge of the area to assist us in deciding on our daily activities. When we had vehicle trouble, Chris made sure to let us know that we were more than welcome to stay a couple of extra nights if need be. In regard to the accommodation, we stayed in the Oasis Room and it was very clean upon arrival and everything we needed (towels, dishes, a welcome basket, shampoo/conditioner/bodywash, fan etc.) was provided. It was cozy, comfortable, and has an amazing view of the Okanagan Lake and rolling hills. We found that the B&B is located in the perfect location; half an hour south of Kelowna and half an hour north of Penticton. Okanagan Oasis provides the perfect place to relax and recharge but also allows you to be close to all the amenities and adventures you so desire. We loved being able to return to the B&B to hang out in the pool and take in the views after a day of exploring the valley. If you're looking to truly experience the Okanagan Valley and also want to avoid the typical hotel stay; we would highly recommend booking a stay at the Okanaga Oasis B&B!

The Oasis was beautiful. Nice and quiet only 3 rooms but you have a communal kitchen / laundry. Plus the pool and hot tub were fantastic. Best of all was the view it was spectacular. The owners were really nice and very informative.

My wife and I spent 3 nights at the Okanagan Oasis and really liked just about every minute of it. Strengths: i) the view is amazing. You can choose many different seats and vantage points to kick back and enjoy the stunning vista. ii) the location is easy to access and is a very short drive to Peachland where we found a number of great eateries. iii) the room is comfortable and clean. iv) the pool is a great spot to cool off. Weaknesses: i) honestly we didn't feel all that welcome and at times felt more like an inconvenience to the owner despite us being very low maintenance and appreciative guests. I'm sure the daily grind of maintaining a BnB can get old but that shouldn't be put on the paying guests. ii) the common facilities and amenities were a bit lacking. Like seemingly all BnBs since Covid, Oasis does not provide breakfast. We understood and accepted this but when we went to eat our two bagels (for 3 night stay) we found there to be only a tub of margarine (not a luxury item) and cheap peanut butter. What's worse is that the margarine was very mouldy and the peanut butter jar was nearly scraped clean. A large jug of coffee is set out in the common space at around 7:30 I believe, which is fine, and for two days there was a Keurig with pods but after using the Keurig on our second day, the pods were removed, never to return. This property is an easy 5/5 based on the comfort and beauty but I struggle to rate our experience as above average based on the weaknesses outlined above (originally posted as 3/5 but then changed to 4 as I'm rounding up from 3.5) . That said, thank you to the owners for sharing this beautiful piece of the earth with my wife and I.

TC - Thank you for your feedback and we're sorry you felt at times like you were an inconvenience!? We're not sure how that happened, as I know I didn't have the opportunity to meet you (I work full time during the week) and Chris said he had very limited interaction with you as you guys were out about most of the time! Regarding breakfast - we very clearly communicate on our website and in our correspondence with guests what to expect for breakfast and that we have moved to a "self catered" type of stay. The breakfast basket we provide in our rooms upon check in is to get your stay started (again clearly communicated in all of our correspondence). The contents, as outlined on our website, include seasonal fresh fruit, bagels and/or muffins, yogurt, locally made granola, juice and granola bars. We do reiterate what to expect for breakfast when we send our reservation confirmation to guests and again when we send check in information! Unfortunately - yes, Covid has taken its toll as we did stop serving our hot 2 course breakfast....and subsequently lowered our rates to be "fair" to our guests while still providing great value! We know where our price point is compared to local motels....and even the larger chain hotels! :) We provide complimentary condiments in the guest kitchenette, including margarine (again mentioned on our website), which stores well in the fridge and is easier to spread...vs. butter from the fridge that is hard as a rock! Lesson learned for us over the years. :) The margarine had just been replaced with a new one prior to your stay so i really can't explain why it would have appeared "mouldy"!? The peanut butter isn't something that we normally provide - it was left behind by other guests so we left it in the fridge for those who wanted to use it! The keurig k-cups are normally tucked away while the large carafe of coffee is out and then placed out again later in the morning when the carafe is finished. We're sorry - if they weren't there for your last afternoon then we must have forgotten to put them out again. Our apologies and sorry this appeared to affect your stay.

Although I have visited the area before, this is the first time I have stayed at the B&B. Not only was view peaceful and spectacular, our host were outstanding. The weather contributed a bit, in that I was able to swim in BC in late September (something I was not counting on).

As soon as we reached Ocanagan Oasis we felt like in paradise. Everything was so beautiful and peaceful. The property is located on the high side of 97 highway and have a wonderful view of the lake. But it is not only view - the property itself, landscaping that is in perfect harmony with surrounding area, clean pool - no chlorine, lots of seating near the pool, lots of stairs, so property has 3 or more layers. My favourite place was swing near the small pond - great place for meditation, I loved doing yoga in the morning near lavender bush, also have a morning swing and dinner with the view. We had everything we needed in our room. Shower was very large and modern. Peachland itself is a very nice town. It is better if you drive into town. It has a long promenade. Central beach is pretty busy, but the beach goes along the promenade. Beaches in Peachland are pebble beaches, our favourite Sun Oka is only 20 min drive. What I like about Peachland, that it is close to West Kelowna, but not as busy as Kelowna or Penticton. Due to covid the lounge room was closed and breakfast was not offered, but it did not bother us too much. Each room had bbq and common kitchen area with excellent choice of coffee. I would definitely stay there again, if I have a chance. It was a highlight of our trip to Okanagan/Shushwap. Great for couple retreat and girls retreat.

We are from the Okanagan and the view was mind blowing! The pool, hot tub and patio seating will steal your breath away! Our room was everything we had hoped for and more! A common area kitchen and entertainment room was a plus. With a BBQ and seating area just outside our room why would you want to leave! Now I could stop there and you should make this place a #1 priority to see but the owners are fantastic! The food, friendliness and service are above anything that we have experienced in our extensive travelling. This is a dream location that you should not come and see yourself and please don't tell your friends about it as we want to make sure we can go back without any date issues! Lol
