The hotel is the stereotypical image of a grand hotel of faded glory. Beautiful location, grand restaurant and common areas. The rooms are very tired, but functional and the wifi works ok +\_. Food is good in the restaurant and menu prices good, no gouging which would be easy as there is not much competion near bye. The views are...

This hotel / spa seems to have the best days behind. After all it used to be Evita Peron's preferred place for a relaxing stay. We have not seen the hotel rooms. The restaurant is of a huge dimension and the food is good. The reception and lounge room are witnesses of a greater past, with big leather chairs and...

The place is fantastic. Just when you are about to reach it you feel you are going up to Heaven. The hotel is nice, rooms are clean. Food is good. The problem is how it's being managed. I have been there 3 times and the 3 of them had exactly the same issues. The front-desk does not seem to pay...

As we approached Hotel Spa Termas de Reyes in northern Argentina, the taxi driver repeatedly praised the “aire puro” -- pure fresh air in the beautiful river valley where the hotel is situated. We were pleased with our room with its refurbished bathroom and hardwood floor. It being a warm day, we opened the balcony door to the sound of...

When you are visiting Salta and Jujuy (North West Argentina) it is mandatory to go to Termas de Reyes hotel just for spend few day or to take pictures and dinner/lunch. It is one of the major landmarks in Jujuy as part of the trip to Pumamarca and/or Tilcara and or Salinas Grandes. The restaurant surpassed our expectations, both in...

My husband and I were cycle touring and camping but decided to treat ourselves to a couple of nights at Termas de Reyes. It was wet and very cloudy when we arrived but that just added to the magic as when the clouds lifted we were stunned by the absolute beauty of this small tucked away gem. Lolling around in...

We were initially going to stay for one night in this hotel, we ended up staying 3 nights. We were mostly backpacking in our holiday with my wife, staying at B&Bs. Prior to driving to this hotel we had a home stay in the middle of the Andes, 4 hours walk away from Iruya, in San Juan. Upon arriving to...

The owner of the hotel picked us up from the airport and gave us a short tour of the major landmarks in Jujuy before taking us to the hotel. Termas de Reyes is in an amazing location, perched on the side of a mountain in a river gorge. We found out the hotel had originally been built as a health...

I´ve been there at least 6 times!....It´s an excellent getaway from stress and routine. This isolated hotel used to be an orphan children home, built by Juan Domingo Perón. Nowadays It´s a very well maintained hotel with an exclusive Thermal SPA with a gorgeous view of the ravine and the river. Rooms are so comfortable. Children are not allowed, so...
