Very clean place. Room size good. Bathroom great. Lovely, friendly people. OK breakfast - coffee could have been a little hotter. The food at dinner was nicely prepared, but I felt that the serving was a little small for 11Euros. The bed was hard for us. Also it had a dreaded plastic mattress cover on the bed. Those always make...

Staff was very friendly, the room really spacey and luckily warm enough in that cold weather. We tried also the hotel restaurant - was amazing. Breakfast really great with very strong coffee, I like it :)

I stayed in the hotel for three nights for travel in the wonderful area. The room was very clean, cozy and well-equipped. The food in the restaurant is amazing, but the breakfast is basic. Very good value for money.

What a fabulous hotel to stay in when visiting the Estrela mountains. It is within walking distance of the town, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Great room...normal European size but had a small fridge which was unusual. Breakfast was plentiful and very good. Really reasonably priced for what we got. We would stay here again.

Very friendly staff but they didn't speak any English at all. The room was a good size, but not quite clean enough. Breakfast was sparse and very basic. The staff were great at helping us fix a flat tyre, though! Manteigas is a great location for exploring the mountains.

The hotel is small but in great shape and with new furniture. The rooms are comfortable and big, with nice views of the town and good quiet air conditioning. The breakfast is decent, with the exception of the coffee. The family that runs the hotel is very nice. They don't speak English. We ate dinner there and had the goat...

It's a small family-owned hotel where you feel really welcomed by the members of the Lopes family. Don't expect any luxurious lodging, but the hotel has new accommodations with all the basic amenities and it's spotless. The rooms are of a good size and the bathroom is new. The bed is comfy and you can ask for anything you might...
