Room was clean enough, I guess. Restaurant tried their best, breakfast was the only meal we had and it was okay. Service fine but the place has seen better days. The trains blew by blowing horns very often so it was not quiet. This place needs some serious cash invested to bring it up to date, as aside from the...

Stayed 1 night while travelling from prince George to vancouver. I expect at one time this was a lovely hotel. Nice location on river . It is now however a run down place. The room was dingy old TV in cabinet that didn't work properly. Dirty carpet and no dead bolt lock or safety chain on door. For $73 a...

As a previous person said, this place has so much potential, but it has been neglected for a long time. The lobby is filled with old chairs, worn and stained. Hallways are dimly lit and smell strongly of stale tobacco. Non-smoking bedrooms smell of tobacco. There are marks on the walls of the room. The lampshades are torn. The veneer...

This place has so much potential!!! Great location by the river. All the potential facilities. Great staff. What it really really needs is some TLC. Its badly in need of a redo everywhere. Bet you people would flock here if you just did some renos. Food was really good...

Stayed there for one night. The hall way smelled,of stale tobacco smoke. The room, itself, was stuffy and the window could not be opened. The air conditioner was too noisy to keep on during the night. Woke up to someone yelling in the corridor during the night. The pillows that were provided were very uncomfortable. The staff was friendly and there...

I went here while visiting some friends in town. My friend told me that I should try the fish and chips. It was a good choice. My daughter had a burger and that was good as well. The lady serving us was nice .

It's a surprise to find the newly opened restaurant in the hotel and everything is beyond my expectation. Room right in front of the river, beautiful view, helpful staff and amazing bar. Will stay here for next summer.

Horrible inn with no food thanks for nothing. Atleast there was wifi and a gas station nearby. Asked front desk where I can order food and they told me to go in the restaurant where I was turned down so quickly.

We stayed at the River Inn for one week and it was an incredibly peaceful stay. They gave us a room right by the water and we also hosted a reunion in their banquet hall. The staff was great, manager was on hand to make sure we had everything sorted. The staff in the bar were friendly but it seems...

Even at $69 per night it wasn't a great deal. Small, cheap improvements could make a huge difference. No Bathrobe hook. Shortage of hangers. Shower curtain dangerous length. Luggage rack. Common areas carpets are filthy.
