Pros: Beautiful & Clean with a remarkable view of the mountains. Nice staff. Free WiFi. Cons: No heat!! (Check average temperature for season before visiting.) No hot water!! Freezing tile floors. Balcony door that doesn't lock properly. Bed hard as a rock! Dog next door barks all night - egged on by the nearby church bells that ring every 15... More

Its a small hotel just two blocks off the town square and the rooms were spacious and clean, while the rates were more than reasonable. My husband and I chose a king size room with a balcony overlooking the town and the rate was... More

We contacted various hotels with no or late answers, so we just found the hotel a block from the square. The hotel is simple, but very clean, extremely... More

“When calling to make reservations in Mazamitla, be sure to ask if they have "calefacción" (heating). If you have difficulty walking up a mountainside that is 2000 feet above sea level, book a room as close to the town square as possible.”
