A good value for the price. The service is good and rooms are clean. I had special dietary requests and the staff where very considerable There is a free Wi-Fi in all the rooms and it even works well If you drive behind the hotel you are able to roll your suitcases right to the first floor

I reviewed this hotel back in 2015, and recently stayed again for two nights. I was a little apprehensive as I'd booked it without seeing the most recent reviews which suggested it had gone downhill somewhat. I had a double room on the top floor of the main building, with a view out across the fjord. The bed was comfortable...

I had two nights here last week. My room was in the annex about 150m along the street. The room was clean and fine, no curtain, just nets. The entrance porch and stairs were unlit, which could be dangerous, but I had a torch. Breakfast was varied and ok, however cold baked beans are not ideal. In the UK the...

Twin room was big enough for us but not our luggage. Bathroom was minute and dirty. Didn't brave the shower as it looked like something might be growing in it. Floor in bathroom was filthy. No lift for luggage which made going up 2 flights of (almost) spiral staircase very difficult with 2 large cases. Thankfully only there for a...

We stayed at this functional hotel for two nights in February. Our room was on the second floor of the main building which is accessed by stairs (there's no lift). The small double room was warm (it was easy to adjust the temperature) and the small bathroom had a shower with lots of hot water. Although the room had sachets...

Where do I begin? There are two parts to this hotel; the main one and then a kind of annex down the road. we were placed in the annex. The room was basic and very small. There was a smell first thing in the morning and in the evening of cooking oil drifting up from the cafe/restaurant downstairs. The TV...

We stayed at Hotel Framnes in Feb 2017. Was feeling a bit uneasy about it as I read many negative reviews about it before arriving. However, when we checked in, the staff was friendly. We were caught in a snow storm and arrived quite late around 8:30pm, both restaurants in town said their kitchens were closed and could not even...

We stayed here for 2 nights as a group of 13 persons on photography expedition. Our objective was to get a good nights rest and keep warm. The hotel is very basic, so don't set your expectations too high... You're own your own on everything including getting your luggage in/out of the room. While we were there, we only saw...

My husband & I visited in June 2016. We only stayed here one night (as there are few options in this area) and the town itself was like a ghost town. There wasn't much going on but that's the appeal of Iceland I suppose. The room was average- really nothing great or terrible. The front desk staff was somewhat off...

Hotel refused to return our money, they charged us for no show while we were there, checked in and stayed there. We have hotel receipt, pictures while we were staying there. Never thought that the hotel is such irresponsible. It's been a month already and still they refused to return our money back. Watch out if you decide to book...
