Kawan Bay Suites**** is an intimate residence opened in 2021, offering a unique accommodation concept in Guadeloupe. Each of our 12 spacious suites features a private garden and a mini artificial lagoon. It is a haven of luxury and tranquility, creating a true tropical paradise for our guests.
Our privileged location, close to the national park and its waterfalls, as well as the island’s most beautiful beaches, allows guests to fully enjoy the natural wonders of our island. A beach is even accessible in less than 5 minutes on foot from our property.

We arrived at this hotel, it's just Wow, it's exactly like in the photos: magnificent, luxurious. And the private lagoon in the room is just great! As the swimming pool closes quite early, when we arrived late in the evening, it allowed us to go and cool off and then be peaceful (not overlooked). The staff is friendly and available for discussions and very good advice for places to see and visit. Very good breakfast with fresh and local products. They reconciled me with bananas. The cocktails at the bar are magnificent and good. A pleasant dream vacation with all modern comforts.

The apartment is equipped with a kitchen area and a lagoon. Take the breakfast option. He's really good. Raphaël will make you omelettes and offer you other treats. You will have access to the 27 meter swimming pool and a small infinity pool. You can lounge on the beds available around the swimming pool. For your shopping you can go to Leclerc. It is an ideal place for your excursions. You are 35 km from the airport. We rented with EUROPCAR and had no problems. Provide a bank footprint of 800 euros.

The suites are very charming, we loved having our own pool. Room service is a real plus for this residence. We had a wonderful stay, with access to the beach next door. I recommend this establishment

We had booked our stay at the Kawan Bay Suites in Deshaies via Booking since November 2023 for the month of August 2024. When we arrived, after a long flight of more than 9 hours and jet lag, we were very poorly received. The person at the front desk didn't have our Reservation. After a while they finally found our Reservation, but there was no room available for us.
Booking did confirm our Reservation. The Pension offered us an unacceptable alternative: a dilapidated room with broken air conditioning, which we refused. We had to leave the Pension and find alternative accommodation with our two young children in the middle of August.
On site, the staff was very unpleasant and no explanation was provided. Obviously, this Pension is more interested in selling day passes to external visitors than in looking after its staying guests.
We strongly discourage Kawan Bay Suites in Deshaies for anyone looking for a pleasant and stress-free stay. Our experience was extremely disappointing and frustrating.

We had booked a suite with a separate bedroom, supporting description and photo and a living room but we had only one room. The sofa bed had the sheets from the previous tenants; we had to ask for sheets 3 times and made the bed ourselves. Outside there is a strong smell of sewage. Parking too small. Maintenance of the neighbors' jacuzzi through our exterior (hose pulled) for a quarter of an hour every day. We are far from the expected standard. As noted in several reviews, not worth the asking price for the quality. Too expensive for what it is.

The +: Nice rooms and terraces. Practical and pleasant bar restaurant in the evening. Friendly staff, available. Lush pool area. Modern site decor, quick beach access.
The -: very expensive for the standard actually provided. At €335 per night, you can find much better in Guadeloupe… Basic breakfast for the standard sold (supposed to be a 4 star).

Beautiful room, beautiful bathroom, very pleasant and friendly exterior. Very very good hamburger and cocktails 🍸 delicious.
Small minus: *the room service was impeccable, but it would be even better if there was someone or a solution provided to clear the trays after use. No more towels or room service.

A magnificent accommodation!! The lagoon is great and well maintained! It’s very cocoon! This is great luxury! We had a great time. The shared swimming pool is magnificent! Some work of course but to better welcome us
