I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel, we stayed for 2 nights. The rooms were excellent, food was good and staff were very helpful! We were given lots of advice from the staff who spoke near perfect English, the bar at night was very reasonably priced.

We stayed here in July '14 as a last-minute booking after searching for a nearby hotel to stay the night during our drive from Manchester to Lake Garda. We really were pleasantly surprised as we didn't do our usual researching before booking. The hotel is very clean, inside & out. The room was lovely and the food was faultless. My spoken French is shamefully poor, schoolboy French at best, but the staff spoke English very well and were really polite and helpful to two weary travelers arriving late. Very much appreciated!
If we're ever passing by in future, we'd definitely stay again, and hopefully have time for a dip in the pool next time!

I looked for a hotel near Strasburg, for just a night and i'm glad I came across the Argos. It is situated in the industrial zone of Vendenheim, 10km north Strasbourg. It is a clean hotel, with a pleasant customer service.

Pros:
- Big, nice and clean room
- A big TFT television screen
- Good and easy access to Strasbourg
- Value
- Strong and Free Wi-FI connection

Cons:

- The bathtub plug did not work properly
- Breakfast diversity could be better

If you want to stay just one night or are passing by, the Argos is a perfect spot.

We stayed here for 1 night en route for Dunkirk. Very disappointed to find restaurant closed on Sat night but took advice from Reception and visited the Cheval Noir in the next village which was very good. Small bedroom and a bit tatty but reasonably clean. Bathroom clean but again in need of a makeover as bottom of bath panel very chipped. Nice pool with loungers and garden with more sun chairs alongside river. Bar overlooking pool with restaurant which looked good - but shut. Parking in grounds of hotel.
Hotel set on edge of retail park with a couple of fast food restaurants and probably popular with business users during weekdays.
Although price reasonable, would not return.

We used Hotel Argos as a one night stop-over on our way to Austria and again on our return journey the following week. We had a room for a family of four with a double bed and 2 twins and an impressive bathroom. The room was spacious and laid out so that we were quite seperate from the children. It was very comfortable. The room was immaculate and the bathroom was lovely with a big bath and a shower.

We only ate breakfast while we were there but it had a good choice of food (with gorgeous croissants!) and the restaurant was clean and modern. The staff were welcoming and helpful.

We were looking for a cheap hotel that 'would do' as we just needed somewhere to sleep and have breakfast, but were very pleasantly surprised. I would highly recommend it for this purpose, although it is situated near a retail park so not as pretty to stay for a holiday. It was 5 minutes from the motorway too which was ideal for us as we had a long journey.

Also we left before breakfast. Beds ok, bathroom good, but nothing special about the hotel

We have stopped here before for a stop-over whilst travelling north through France so decided we would stop again. The hotel has everything we need for an overnight stop, including friendly staff, a cosy bar area and comfortable rooms.

Not the Hilton but it doesn't say it is. Clean. Quite. Friendly and a bargain price. Close to food and shops. If you need to be in this area stop here. From now on in we will. 10 /10 as MD has a bar and pool

Used to be good but will never stay there again. The walls were covered in damp at one end of the room and the room stank. Following morning there was no hot water at all and the staff didn't seem bothered.

We had difficulty finding the hotel in the dark, the staff agreed the signposting was poor. That said the staff were pleasant the room a little on the small side but had everything we needed.
Would definetely return it has a nice pool. Its in the commercial area not the old town but very convenient for the highway.
