I have never witnessed such unfriendly staff as I did in the Ugie House. The rooms were cold and the bed linen dirty. The shower in our room was broken and in our friends room the shower was ice cold. Also the staff were extremely unfriendly and were banging on our door from 10.30am to evict us. The breakfast was awful and the service bad. The manager had an attitude problem and we will definitely not be back!

Dinner with my wife for my birthday. The food was enjoyable but not innovative and,as a major 60th was going on in the ballroom, we were the only guests in the large dining room. The young waitresses were very attentive and the management gave me a complimentary birthday drink as well as very kindly taking us back to our B&B! Thank you!

I had a lovely lunch date with my friend at the Ugie House Hotel. The food was delicious, well presented, and very friendly servers. The dining room was light, clean and had good views. I will certainly return to sample more of their delicious food.

14 of my family members from across the UK stayed in the Ugie. Purpose of trip to scatter my dads ashes in the place he was brought up. Staff were brilliant, early check in a bonus. Hotel was really busy however we were looked after well. Dinner was lovely and we were allowed to congregate in lounge. Was an emotional visit and made easier with our stay in the Ugie.
