We stayed in the Honeymoon suite on the top floor, very nice room; felt very Scottish (we're from NZ) so we were super happy with in. My partner proposed in the turret, so we will always have fond memories of our stay here at the Royal in Keith.
Went here for an evening meal and it was amazing. Definitely recommend this place for a meal. My friend and I had the lasagne and my husband had the steak pie. All were well presented and very tasty. Will definitely be going back.
Didn't have a reservation anywhere and ended up here. It was alright. Ended up on the 3rd floor on a room facing the side street. Room was clean, much nicer than the common areas. However, the wi-fi wouldn't work in our room and the tv had problems too. We had to close the windows when we went to bed due to lots of street noise -people walking back from the pubs up the street. That made the room very hot to sleep in. The pub had great burgers.
Went for a meal with wife and her kids. Place was busy. Lounge area is small but comfy. Food and drink orders were taken promptly. Dining room is large and bright. Food was well presented and tasty. Well worth a visit
I stayed at The Royal Hotel while attending the Keith TMSA. It is located just a 10 minute walk from the station on the corner of the main road. The welcome was warm and I was taken up to my room and explained everything on the way. It's a very old fashioned Victorian hotel, which had plenty of character to it. The room was a good size with En-suite toilet and shower. I had a meal downstairs in the bar which has an extensive menu and plenty of seating. The food was tasty and fresh. It provides a nice alternative to the restaurant up the stairs (which also had a nice menu), I had two little disappointments however, 1) breakfast wasn't explained other than that it was included in the price of the room. I went down and was seated almost immediately but the waitress just walked off, there was no menus about but eventually I noticed (I'm partially sighted) there was a table on the other side of the room which had cereals, fruit and juices so I went and helped myself. No sooner had i returned to the table and a huge plate of every possible cooked item (and toast) was placed in front of me. The food was good but I don't eat everything so felt a but disappointed to be not given a choice of what I would like and have food wasted. 2) I went to check out at reception and had been told my room had already been paid for (unknown to me at the time of booking). Despite this I look forward to returning knowing what to expect again.…
