A good hotel, unbeatable location, practically private beach for the hotel, close to the hotel, unbeatable service, exceptional buffet food, very varied and well cooked, varied salads, meats, fish, very large dining room, very good service and unbeatable views. I definitely recommend it for both couples and families, the pool is not very big but sufficient, the room is very good, new mattresses, renovated bathroom.
Thanks to the entire team for making our stay such a pleasant one.

After several years going to the hotel in different months of the year, since last year there is always a common problem and is the Manager of the dining room, since you enter bad faces, answers etc... observes everything and only returns complaints, confronts the uneducated guest and doubting what you talk, much is missed the old maitre always with a smile, good thing it is not all this way, it is noteworthy the great team of human work that the hotel has especially Blas and Saul in the restaurant, the whole reception team and in particular Christian and Jonathan in charge of the hammocks that by the way welcome!
In terms of facilities the hotel is on the beachfront with everything you need, in which rooms are remodeled.
The rooms have the problem that they have bad sound insulation and you hear everything from the next room and those upstairs.
As soon as you finish remodeling all the rooms, fix the insulation and the dining problem will be a 5-star again.

Hotel Sicania is situated perfectly on the beach front with a beutiful view. The kids are safe from having to cross busy roads, looking the wrong direction. There are many shops and drink outlets close by with a good variety food to eat. However, if you do not speak spainish and wish to have specific dishes, learn the language a little, it goes a long way. Most rooms have a lovely view and quiet at night. Staff are helpful but remember they do not spek english very well. This is how Spain should be - not overcrowded and english! Written by english visitors of many years to this hotel and area.

Every year we come back to spend a few days. This family hotel has existed forā€¦..decades of years. Of course it has been modernized!
Spacious and very clean rooms, air-conditioned of course. Balcony on the beach. Direct access to the beach by elevator. Deckchairs and parasols to reserve (paid and optional of course!). A warm, very clean, shallow sea. Very nice beach for children. Sailing school at the foot of the hotel. Very very generous buffet breakfast. A restaurant room whose bays overlook the beach. A large closed car park in front of the hotel (a10ā‚¬/day).
Certainly it is not great luxury but all its assets and its exceptional location lead us to come back every year to spend a week there.
Very reasonable price: ā‚¬168 per day for two with sea view room, breakfast included, in the middle of August.

Perfect hotel for families.Quiet, on the first line and very welcoming. Staff at reception very friendly although occasionally somewhat clueless to questions about facilities. In the varied buffet dining room, homemade food is generally good. The very attentive and friendly staff always helping in whatever is requested, we must highlight the work of the manager always attentive to our demands trying to satisfy us. In recent years the dining room has given a positive change in quality and care. Fully recommended if you are lucky enough to stop by Cullera and stay at this hotel.

Terrible service, the waiter did not even come out to the terrace to serve, we had to leave without taking anything. I looked out and he was calmly watching TV without doing anything. That hotel survives because of the location, because for everything else, disastrous. Nothing recommendable.

Great facilities, excellent service, exceptional massage service, very well cooked cuisine. A 10 and even more so being a three star. I trust they don't change.

If you have never been to Hotel Sicania, please don't go. The rooms are small and the furniture is very old; the air conditioned is frequently out of service; the staff cannot speak English, neither the director; the staff is very old and unfriendly, and sometimes they laugh at the customers, thinking they cannot speak Spanish; it is very expensive for the service they give. Definitively, choose another hotel when going to Cullera, or better go to Denia or Benidorm, where there are more options.

Hotel Sicania is as old as whiskey's receipt. The web site design, shows the lack of organization and customer-thinking of this company: my 5 year old daughter could make a better work. Besides, neither the waiting managers nor the director ("direstressed") could understand me. I love Spain and there are thousands of better places to visit. Furniture and walls need to be restored, the chef needs a class of new cuisine, the director has to learn discipline and the owners must invest to renew it. Finally, it is too expensive for a ruined building and an even worse service.

I've been many times to this hotel, but I don't know what happened to the charming and elegance it had once, some time ago. The hotel is beautifully located, and I spent many lovely nights having dinner by the sea. But that finished this year: the friendly musicians don't play anymore, and dinners in the terrace have been cancelled. What's the matter? Is it money? We paid. Is it people? Pay more. Is it management? Hire someone else, it's not so difficult to run a hotel.

The hotel will also thank you any investment in reforms, marketing and staff satisfaction. A business is not only a money making machine, to keep it alive you have to take care of all relationships: customer-staff, management-staff, B2B, etc. That's marketing.
