Stayed there for a week on business from 18th September. Mike and his wife were very welcoming and couldn't do enough to make my stay more pleasant. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone wanting comfort, warmth and value for money.

We liked the Romany Inn, it isn`t luxury accommodation but it is good comfortable pub accommodation. Good value for money, the food is excellent especially the breakfast. Mike, the landlord, gave us a very warm, friendly welcome & was always chatty & helpful. We stayed for 3 nights & were more than happy with the whole experience.

stayed at the Romany Inn for 3 nights in early July, the host Mike was most welcoming and friendly. Stayed in one of the two bedrooms to the rear of the property, in the garden, although in need of a little TLC, it was very clean and comfortable. Dined in the lounge on the first night, excellent steak and chips,...

Went to see the band Loaded, came up from Cornwall to see them, first time in the Romany Inn, was a lovely luttle pub and very friendly. Great little place to go see a group and have a few drinks, the place was packed which was a good sign.

We stayed at The Romany Inn recently as we were visiting friends in the area and really enjoyed our stay. The room was pleasant and comfortable, with tea and coffee making facilities. We didn't hear any noise from the function in the bar on Saturday night. Mike, the host, was really friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was excellent -...

Lovely host Mike, very pleasant man. Our room was a little disappointing though. There was only one bedside table, although there was plenty of space for two, so one of us had nowhere to place a drink. The sofa was a nice touch, but again, there was no little table near, to place any drinks. The lights near the sofa...

We stayed here for a wk as we where working at Witney college. The landlord was really pleasant and tried hard to be helpful. Unfortunately the room we stayed in was terrible dirty carpets, filthy walls, mould in the shower room and mouldy windows/skirting boards not what I expected really the shower was really poor constantly changing temperature how ever...

The Romany Inn stands on the main street in Bampton Oxfordshire, there is no car park but there is adequate adjacent street parking. The rooms are not fancy but are clean and comfortable. There is free WiFi but like all of rural Oxfordshire it can be slow. Meals are typical pub grub, but with good portions and nicely cooked. Local...

Was recommended to go here for Sunday lunch. Very pleased we took the advise. Had the best home cooked meal since I started traveling. Had a choice of Beef, Lamb or Pork served with Yorkshire Pudding, roast potatoes & parsnip, cauliflower cheese and steamed carrots, swede & broccoli with gravy. Bookings recommended.

We had the best Sunday lunch ever yesterday. We've eaten here multiple times and I've forgotten to rate it on Trip Advisor, but for sure I should have. Everything is fresh and home cooked. In fact we won't eat Sunday lunch out anywhere else any more. For £8.50 per person it is fabulous value. I would say until you have...
