This is the only not all included Hotel around Cayo Santa Maria and the views of the rooms (only half of them) are perfect, just 3 m away from the water. As all Cuban state owned business, the maintenance on the hotel for the last decades has been non existent. The Hotel has a private beach and you can get...

Never ever will I come to this "hotel", nor I dare to recommend. We saw a rat in our room! Do I need to say anything else? The staff is very rude. No matter the fact that there were available rooms for check-in, they still made everybody wait till 4 p.m. I am not even mentioning the fact that they...

Villa Las Brujas was a pleasant surprise. It is one of the few hotels that is not an all-inclusive (and much less expensive) on the northern chain of cayos commonly referred to as Cayos Santa Maria. It is located on a beautiful stretch of beach, prefect for long beach walks or just relaxing in one of the lounge chairs. It...

The houses are clean and comfortable. The food was okey but without any finess. The beach was secluded and excellent for long walks. But the service of the hotel was the worst. There was no interest in helping you as a guest or even answer simple questions. One of the receptionists was better than the other. You are stranded without...

This is a badly maintained resort- poorly managed and serviced. The wooden walkways were full of protruding nails, broken and uneven boards. From the 21 available rooms/cabins, 12 are sea view and the rest are in a garbage ridden forest. We had two of these 'standard' rooms. The forest cover was very light in front of our balconies which were...

The 'resort' has 24 cabins which are all really private. The rooms are huge and have everything you need. If you want a shiny new room this is not the place for you. But if you don't mind that the rooms could use some fresh paint it really is good value for your money. The restaurant on the other hand...

You can really feel secluded here, as it is quite run down (for a "resort") but in a great way- ie. this is exactly what my boyfriend and I look for in a place. If you hate touristy resorts which are full of people then you should try here- it's the opposite. Although, because it is still strictly speaking a...

If you are planning a trip to Cuba, you should stay here for 2-3 days. Make sure to make reservation for a room with a sea view. The beach is lovely and not crovded. The restaurant serves quite good food and much better than you normally be served in Cuba. The service is exellent.

Nice hotel with spacious cabins (with sea view for 5 cuc extra per night). Restaurant (for breakfast, lunch and dinner) is ok, with good service. After a few days you might want to eat somewhere else, which is not possible. Bathroom (hot shower works well) and very spacious room are ok: airco, fridge, large beds, LCD TV, balcony with sea...

I stayed at the Villa Las Brujas in April of 2016 for 5 nights. This is one of the oldest resorts on Cayo Santa Maria and it is located in a relatively isolated spot on the west side of the island. It is a two minute drive from the local municipal airport. Be warned, it is about a two hour...
