I normally book this hotel the grounds are nice and the culture is amazing. If you are looking for a hotel that's inclusive and takes care of its guest in a way that no other hotel does this is it you need to come here. The food is great, I had no complaints there are alot of food choices. This is a resort where literally almost everyone goes to the snack bar after any show or event the staff organizes. With that said I know most of the staff here although there are some new great additions like Cesar, this guy is the life of the party literally. He is so down to earth and extremely knowledgeable. You start talking to him and you can literally talk for hours, he sure knows how to include people and bring people together in a good way. You know that it's part of his personality and not just a "job" for him he is honestly an impeccable person which makes him a great, genuine entertainer. I had a great time, and met amazing people.

This is without a doubt the worst resort we have ever stayed at in Cuba. The lack of food was so bad that I sent a video to Sunwing, there were no meat or pasta cooking stations at the dinner buffet and the little bit of food in the trays was dry and tasteless. There was a lot of confusion regarding the price of an upgrade which we were happy to pay for we did not expect anything free and when we expressed our displeasure at being quoted one price and then they doubled it the manager Sylvano told us if we should feel honoured that he took the time to speak to us because he does not usually speak to guests and that if we were not happy we should go somewhere else! We did go somewhere else and will never return to this resort.

We just spent 7 wonderful days at the Gran Muthu Rainbow. Second week of Jan. It was our first time to the Cayo Guillermo/Cayo Coco area and it was WOW! This resort was just inaugurated in Dec 2019 and clsed down in March 2020 due to the pandemic. It reopend in Nov 2021. Therefore, it's still brand new. Our room was in Block 2, facing tennis courts and the often empty main road. Not seaview and facing the pool but we liked that way since it was very quiet. The room is very modern, nicely decorated, and with a large balcony. Hot water was plentiful and with good pressure. The fridge was loaded with Spanish beer and a Cuban version of Coca-Cola. A big bottle of water was delivered every day. The bed was comfy and room service was done every day. We love how Maite attended to our room. Every day, there was a creation of her with flowers on our bed. Safe box, bath robes, hair dryer, nothing is missing. There are 5 à-la-carte restaurants (Cuban, international, tapas, Asian, and Indian). However, due to the lower Covid-related occupancy rate, only 2 were opened each day when we were there. We preferred the Asian (7 Spices) and the international (Anchor) ones. As Asians who prefer spicy food, we found the food a bit bland but still very good. The resort has 2 beaches. One with a rocky shore near the pool for sun tanning and another one after the Cuban restaurant for swimming. We prefer this one. It is large with nice white sand and turquoise water. Just beautiful and what we came to Cuba for! The gym was quite well furnished with free weights and machine. You will have to book your time slot. It's to respect health protocols. There was an outdoor show every evening performed by the animation team. We loved those shows! The team is so energetic and talented. The weekly drag queens show was a blast and amazing! The Noon wine bar is the place to go for great cocktails and drinks. The coffee bar nearby is the place for good coffees made by Carlos, the barista. Buy your rums at the resort's boutique instead of the airport's duty-free shops. Cheaper at the resort. Santiago de Cuba is a very good label. Even better than Havana Club. What makes this resort such a wonderful one is its staff. Everyone was so dedicated and endearing. Also, as a gay couple, we felt so welcomed and respected. We were celebrating our 15th anniversary and Yorden, customer service, arranged for us a special sunset event. So touching! We loved our time there and will surely come back to the Rainbow.

I spent 7 days over New Years. The resort was clean and staff was amazing. Rooms were great size and the suites were wonderful. I would like to point out that during my stay I had the pleasure of meeting a very attentive and friendly staff. Her name is Beatriz De Avila. She takes care if the Suites and wherever needed. She went over and above in all of her interactions with me and my friends. This is a very new resort that was great to stay at
