The chateau is beautiful, as well as the grounds. The rooms are very nice, good size, they don't have a shower, just a tub European style. They don't AC. Avoid the food, is terrible. The breakfast was also expensive 14 euros for coffee and bread. Dinner was bad.

The rooms were very large and spectacular. Very comfortable. Bathrooms seemed to be remodeled and were also beautiful. Well worth booking a room, keep in mind they only have 29 rooms so book months ahead. The grounds are gorgeous. They have a flower and vegetable garden that is very nice. They don't really have a restaurant but they have a...

Spectacular Chateau, maintained well in its original condition ( however sadly needs air-conditioning in rooms when temperature is about 40 degrees C ) Rooms & buildings are authentic & restaurant for breakfast & dinner is served in the main building which has statues, artwork & woodwork that gives atmosphere. Meals are great with much of the food is grown on...

If your in the area and looking for great value in a beautiful setting this is it. The chateau sits on a few acres of magnificent gardens and open grass fields with a restaurant attached to keep you entertained. This is a wonderful and unique establishment. We stayed in 2 of 29 rooms in the Chateau and they were spacious and grand, The shower was the best we have ever experienced. The grounds are wonderful, until you get to the gardens and the Tomato Bar, were they grown many of their own herbs and vegetables. our welcome was very...

We stayed for two nights in a Pavilion room (the old stables) which was basic but quiet charming. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and went straight to the cafe for lunch only to find all the food was sold out. As we didn't have a car we had no other dining options, the Chateau is not within walking distance...

This is a quaint and physically imposing though somewhat run down hotel. Our group of 19 enjoyed the stay however the staff (mainly very good) were stretched at bar/drinks time and the bar drinks are a bit overpriced. The dinner was good but not great and the breakfast a little simple. Most odd in a wine region was the list...

I pleased to read that you had a nice stay in our Château. You are right, we had some trouble to serve all the group efficiently as people came one by one and didn't seat at the place we expected. But we did our best to give you the best and quickest service we could in the circumstances (all the...

We reserved the hotel several month before our arrival and when we checked in we notified that we will stay not in the castle, but in the Pavillon, which we called "horse house" as it could be rated as 1 star hotel (No air conditioning, quite smelly). We were very disappointed as we booked exactly the room in the castle. After...

We stayed one night as part of a small group tour. Our room was over the former stables and was a bit warm without A/C. We had to leave the window open (the French don't use window screens) and the fan on to sleep. Also, there was only a bathtub with a sprayer wand and no way to use it...

I thank you for all your kind words. I am glad to see that I took note of your little remarks and will do my best to improve it. I am looking froward to welcoming you again in the Château.

Stayed on our last evening on the Belle France Backroads tour...we all wished we could be here for longer . Rooms were in the protected part of e building above the shop and cookery school area . Extremely large with enormous bathrooms , you viewed to the main house and the gardens which were ample and provided many walking paths....
