We are just leaving a fabulous week at the Argyle Guest House. The hosts were wonderful and attentive. The breakfast was a treat each morning with wonderful food a very good coffee. The rooms were very comfortable with plenty of blankets for chilly highland nights. There were plenty of outlets to charge our devices. The en-suite was clean.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Argyle during a equestrian holiday. From the warm welcome we received to a very fond farewell at the end of the week, we were incredibly well looked after. Diane is an exceptional hostess, and Steve is an amazing chef; our meals were truly excellent. Our room and en-suite bathroom were clean...

Our first stop on our Scotland trip was to Argyle House and we couldn't ask for much more. Centrally located to the Highland distilleries, circled by several great pubs and restaurants and the friendliest hosts you'd want to meet. The beds were comfortable and we wanted for nothing. Make sure you take full advantage of the breakfast the next morning....

Our party of 4 Mountain bikers arrived at 8.15pm after a 115k cycle that day. We were quickly shown around, bikes secured and breakfast orders taken. We even had offers of mechanical assistance for a tyre problem. This level of organisation was exactly what we needed to enable us to shower and get out for food. The rooms were spacious...

What a great place to stay in the Cairngorms. The host(s) was excellent and very helpful not only in the B&B aspect but informative about what to see in the area. The guest house was very good in every aspect. Room was spacious and very clean, especially the washroom. Toilet scrubbed and sanitized daily. Breakfast was good and host went...

My partner and I checked into the B+B in the center of Tomintoul for an overnight stay on a weekend of mountain biking and skiing. We received a warm welcome from the owner and were shown to our room. The property is well maintained with comfy beds, adequate space and en-suite facilities. There is also free wifi which is good...

If you’re looking for an authentic experience in the Scottish Highlands, Argyle House is the place to stay. Nestled in the small village of Tomintoul, this B &B has all the charm you could want. I was there on an equestrian ride, but owners Diane and Steven expertly hosted bikers and hikers traveling on the Speyside Way. Tomintoul is the...

From the minute we arrived until the minute we left we were home. Dianne and Steve run an excellent home away from home. We were spoilt and our room was so spacious we could have gotten lost! Clean with a great shower too. The breakfast is excellent and the black pudding is the best I've eaten. Try it, even if...
