Mt Kinabalu and park are stunningly beautiful...we stayed in a chalet, tired but still magnificent, large lounge area and spacious rooms, hot water and good water pressure. After the daily down pour we discovered that we had a drip at 3 drops/second falling on a rusted down pipe with the volume of a kettle drum...climbed out the window as far...

The viewing of the famous Mt. Kinabalu from this hotel is just simply remarkable in the early morning and late afternoon. The new add-in - the chalets opposite the hotel building, of this old hotel is impressive. They are well layout and in a romantic setting. The restaurant has improved. Facilities have improved. What it needs is to improve the...

Listen up people. Below are the things YOU NEED TO KNOW: 1. Water heater is centralized. They will only turn it on between 5am - 11am and 5pm - 11pm. Which brings to another problem (see below). 2. If you're late for your morning bath, the hot water will deplete by 8am. So wake up and bathe early. 3. If...

If you are getting a chalet, please ensure the following. 1. Mosquito Repellent is a must 2. Double-Triple check if you are getting clear Mount Kinabalu view. Totally disappointed as I have to drive out from the hotel area to have a clear view of Mount Kinabalu which I was expecting to enjoy the view from my balcony which I...

Stayed at the resort for a night. Located at the entrance to Mount Kinabalu for those intending to make the climb. It was a chalet n layout of the unit was good with 2 rooms on the upper level which is also the entrance to the unit. The lower level held the living, dining rooms, kitchen and balcony. Unfortunately our...

We stayed for a couple of nights while visiting the National Park. You have geat views of the mountain. The room was fine. Not the most up to date but the bed was comfortable and the facilities adequate. The hotel shop was a helpful extra and the staff were extremely kind - almost too willing to please. I would have...

This is atypical of Msian hospitality property. Once it ages, maintenance is zero, It's somewhat a cultural practice I realized, whether in Sabah, Kedah, Johor or Pahang. Same as the island properties, when the property is in bad shape, nothing matters more than bookings. The resort is sadly depleted in terms of cleanliness, comfort and the view can be take...
