Without doubt the best Chambres d'Hotes we have ever stayed in. Generously sized delightfully decorated rooms, comfortable beds, equally delightful hosts and quite the most sumptuous breakfast I have ever been presented with, including a cheese board that would have put many 5 star restaurants to shame - and all set in a magical little village. This one is definitely...

A charming garden is the first indication that this was a good choice for a B&B after a long drive heading for Calais and home. A great welcome from our English hosts and the joy of being shown to a charming room, beautifully furnished and complete with fresh fruit AND chocolates! Perhaps we shouldn't rush home after all. Breakfast was...

Near the end of our 2 1/2 week trip to Europe we stayed at La Grange du Belvedere, a very comfortable bed-and-breakfast in the charming medieval village of Charroux. We were greeted by Colleen and David and shown to our rooms. Colleen was the perfect hostess, making sure we had everything we needed. A most affable person, she even arranged...

So peaceful – in fact no TV or internet. A good stopping point on a journey to the South of France. The village was quiet in November,. but we had an excellent meal at the nearby Ferme de Saint Sebastien.

Coleen, this must be one of the highlights to our visits to Europe in the past 10 years - everything that we experienced was 110% - we even overslept the first morning breakfast (which was fantastic) - by a full 2 hrs - (the bed was extremely comfortable) - the entire house is impeccable , as a fellow Architect the...

This was the last night of our honeymoon and a perfect stop off on our journey between Ile de Re and Geneva. Colleen and David were so friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had a splendid time,...

Colleen & David have restored an old barn in Charroux into the most beautiful Country Retreat you could ever wish to stay in. The rooms are stylish, extremely comfortable and the fresh fruit, Badoir water and chocolates are a delightful touch and most welcome after our longish drive to Charroux from Lausanne in Switzerland. Colleen serves a delicious breakfast of...

It has all been said by others. Beautifully restored property in charming village. Every detail has been attended to with excellent taste and regardless of expense. Accommodation immaculate. Continental breakfast with fresh melon, pineapple, strawberries, croissants, baguettes and absolutely divine home-made preserves could not have been better. David and Colleen are very friendly and welcoming hosts. I would certainly make...

Our stay at La Grange du Belvedere was wonderful. The property is charming and our room was perfect. The bed was so comfortable that we both slept in! Charroux is an interesting little village. The church in the the center of town is a must see. Mr. and Mrs. Sharpe were friendly, helpful hosts. Staying here was one of the...

We stayed one night only, en route back home from Spain, we couldnt stay on the way out as it was fully booked. Next year we shall contact Colleen in good time to make sure we can stay at the Grange again. We have stayed in all manner of hotels and B&Bs around the world, and this must rank within...
