Large room with two beds and high ceiling, natural ventilation. Huge open eating / lounging area with garden. Some of the best food on our trip. Close to Volcan Tenorio with trails and waterfall. This place is a real treat for anyone looking for true hospitality with a minimal environmental footprint.

This is one of those rare finds that you would just fall in love with. Surrounded by mountains and serene views of valley and beyond with sprawling and neatly manicured gardens all around. The owners are wonderful hosts and very engaging. Their team works tirelessly to prepare gourmet meals that would wow you each time. Its a place to heal...

This was our second trip to Celeste Mountain Lodge, and we will return for the wide range of activities, excellent food, and gracious staff. This is a wonderful eco lodge on the edge of Tenorio National Park. You can hike on their private trail to see wildlife, relax in the common areas, enjoy bird watching, walk the gardens, and enjoy...

Hard to tell why... but the atmosphere of the place will give you the feeling to be alone in the mountain with a group of friend you have always know. My only advise is going there, Don t expect anything, enjoy the place, take your time, feel the nature. More than an hotel it s an experience!

This hotel is awesome! The owner is a very friendly French man who made our stay so very pleasant. The meals are pre-fixed and not very large, but satisfying. Meals are at a certain time (not a restaurant). The rooms are adorable. Try to get the upper level. BUGS will get into your room. Place a towel under the door...

An incredible open concept eco lodge - one side facing Tenorio Volcano (actually consisting of four peaks) is open and the views are fantastic. The owner Joel has created lights, planters, cushions and just about anything else you can think of to make with recycled materials. The grounds and hedges are meticulously manicured and there are trails on the property....

Thank you madam, sir, for your so nice comments on our eco-lodge. We also are sad you didn't enjoy our food. Which is not that fancy, yet using local ingredients that international visitors do not know.. banana plantain, yuca, sweet potato. We owe you that one! Please come back and we'll do your menu at your taste. We thank you...

I thought this was an excellent hotel. From our room we had great views of the mountains and the room was quite spacious. Breakfast and dinner were of very high quality and what I liked the most was that we sat down at tables were 6-8 people could sit. This arrangement allowed to meet the other guests and it was...

I photographed 13 species of birds in the lodge gardens on my arrival afternoon. The day trip to Cañon Negro was even better! And the gourmet food can't be beat nor Alex as an excellent guide. Then Tenorio Volcano National Park is one of the most beautiful in Costa Rica, right next door! Excellent choice for my birding trip!

Everything about this place was amazing: the price, the accommodations, the people, and the FOOD. I cant rave enough about it. We spent two awesome nights here and felt so at home interestingly enough given such a blend of cultures. The food itself is worth making the trip, you will never leave a meal disappointed. The property overall is beautiful...

We loved Celeste Mountain Lodge. The location, the architecture and the food were all outstanding. The owners and the manager are always there to serve the guest and offer suggestions on what to do. There are lots of beautiful birds all around the property. The meals are delicious and healthy. We recommend this lodge highly.
