This place is close to L’anse aux meadows and was a convenient place to stay. You could tell it had been cleaned as the cleaning smell was still strong. It has two bedrooms a bathroom and a main room. It felt like it was furnished with second hand furnishings like you Might do if you owned a rustic cabin. It did have a coffee maker etc so it would be convenient to make your own meals. One of the beds wasn’t comfortable but the others were. Caretaker doesn’t stay on site at night

Glenora, the hostess with the mostess. She is so friendly and helpful. The cabins are clean, and a good value, beds are comfy with all the needed amenities. Would recommend. Located close to lance au meadows, with great options nearby for food. A fire pit would be nice to add to the experience tho

Passed by this place plenty of times and ended up here when another place close to Lanse Aux Meadows was full and a staff suggested here. Were glad she recommended this place and actually phoned our friends to tell them our find. Just minutes away from the UNESCO Site and it would be a great place in spring, early summer to go and see the Bergs. Great little kitchen, off the road just enough so passing traffic would not interfere. (we had cabin 8,wheelchair accessible not that we needed it but still great.) Price was great and we look forward to spring and Iceberg time to visit again.

When in the area this is our 'goto' place. Solid cabins, reasonably sized. Kitchenette for when you don't want to go out for dinner. Friendly staff who try hard to make your visit pleasant. The internet works but gets slow when all of the cabins are full. Overall a good base for visiting the local area. Keep an eye out for moose in the late evenings and early mornings.

The cabin was comfortable and quiet. The interior had many upgrades and all the facilities needed to cook, was and sleep. Location was great and supplied easy access to numerous spots to visit. Certainly well worth a stay.

The cabins are OK, although they do not have a quality look or feel. The location is not bad, only 10 minutes to L'Anse aux Meadows and 25 minutes to St. Anthony. There are a few restaurants and stores nearby, but not within walking distance. There was a musty smell in the bathroom, there must have been water damage there at some point, it smelled like mould. The bug screens in the windows of the 2 bedrooms and the living room had gaps big enough for bugs to get in so we could not keep the mosquitos out. This should definitely be addressed, because our friends in a different unit had the same problem. The kitchen seemed new and had some utensils, the bedrooms were fine. Overall we had a decent stay for 2 nights. More "fire-drums" (and old washer drum) are needed, we got our hands on the only one!

Cabin number 10 was very nice and newly renovated It was very clean and well equipped but it would be nice with a picnic table and tv mounted on wall. Table could go against wall and a cofee table or end table would be nice

We moved from Snorri cabins to here at. 11pm to a cabin that is very nice #9. Had to check in here as it is a seperate business so had a refund at Snorri and then they charged here. Had agreed to $99/night during the move but they tried to charged $109/night. Got that fixed. Next day went to take a show and the water pressure was poor enough to have the water just run out of the shower nozzle not spray out. Got the, to fix this, they relace the shower head that allowed for a spray. Next morning my wife was having a shower and we ran out of hot water, within 3 minutes. Stopped at the office who tried to call the owner. No answer. Ultimately we both had showers but did the old turn off the water, lather up, water on,etc. the shower/water is attached to the office and laundry so i believe this may be the source of the problem. I complained, who wouldn't and said a discount was in order. Staff, who was terse, said I already do as the rate is $129/night even though the website states $109/night. The cabin is nice and worth using if and when they get things squared away. I would however comfirm pricing and bedding before booking as i feel you will get leftovers if not.

These cabins were a pleasant surprise to find on our journey through Newfoundland. They were large, clean and equipped with everything we could need. I believe they were under new ownership, but in any case the staff went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. When we stayed, they had only been open for a few days, so there were some teething pains with their recently installed wifi internet connection, but we helped the staff determine what the problems were, which they insisted they would correct immediately. The location offers a natural setting close to the L'anse-aux-Meadows National Historic Site, so it is not only beautiful, but convenient. If you intend to prepare your own meals in the cabins, you'll find a small grocery / convenience store just a few kilometers down the road in town. I would not hesitate staying there again.

Booked here at last minute when our preferred (and significantly more expensice) choices were unavailable. Cabins were clean, had kitchens and were fine, if a bit dated. Good location right off main highway. 1 bathroom for a 2 bedroom cabin.
