The Premier Inn Burgess Hill Hotel garners praise for its friendly service, though a few guests have encountered unprofessionalism. Its cleanliness is widely acclaimed, especially in the rooms, but the public spaces sometimes fall short. While the premier plus rooms are celebrated for their spaciousness, some visitors have expressed concerns about maintenance and the lack of air conditioning.
The quiet ambience and comfortable furniture generally impress, despite some remarks about the beds. The hotel's amenities, including parking and dining options, are well-regarded, yet opinions on the hotel's value vary, with some guests questioning the room sizes and service quality.

Hotel's Favourite
This hotel was the perfect place to stay just 25 minute to Brighton.
In order of comments:-
Plenty of car parking spaces,
Reception very friendly,
Access lift to all floors no stairs to climb
The room was very very clean
Tea and coffee available as well as a fridge,
Bathroom was spotless all credit to housekeeping staff,
Food available at the Beefeater had a good selection to cover every taste from burgers to steaks.
Would my wife and I stay at the Burgess Hill Premier Inn, Yes without hesitation

The answer is ‘The Acorn’ Beefeater and Premier Inn. Situated in an upmarket trading estate this Premier Inn is ideal for visiting Sussex being centrally located and within 30 minutes of the coast, something to bear in mind if rooms are not available at the various resorts. We found the accommodation to be very clean on arrival, a request for extra towels and pillows was met in a few minutes. We were on the ground floor next to the car park however we did not experience noise from people returning from the flesh pots of Burgess Hill. All in all a greats nights rest and sleep.
Regarding the restaurant Beefeater is a brand directed toward high end steaks and burgers and persons with other tastes will have to be relegated to the margins of the menu for something that will have been reheated or microwaved.
Breakfast is still unlimited - COVID regulations require that you order whatever you want and it is served fresh to your table.
Decor wise it is rather gloomy contrasting with the Premier Inn scheme in the hotel.
I must say however that all the staff we encountered were extremely polite and efficient - I would certainly use this hotel again.

The Premier Inn is situated on an industrial centre out of the town itself. As a lone female I would recommend driving into town to get food in the evening rather than attempting the walk. The staff prior and during the visit could not have been nicer. Mandy and Fern seem to live there. They go above and beyond to help. The rooms themselves were tired and clearly work hard. Our non smoking rooms stank of smoke. The accessible room had a decent sized bathroom and plenty of space to manoeuvre a wheelchair. The hotel gets very busy. The car park was free. Breakfast was generous and of a good premier inn standard. I would definitely stay here again if I could get a room that didnt smell of smoke.

Thanks to Louise from Burgess Hill who supported my elderly aunt being moved to an accessible room. Louise went the extra mile and we really appreciated it. Accessible room was great as my aunt has had a hip replacement and needed a shower/wet room and lower bed.

Comfy beds room has everything you need apart from water for kettle didnt fancy using bathroom taps Teabags a bit sparse but went to restaurant in any case. Clean corridors bit like being on a ship some pictures or wall art wouldn't go amiss . Room good though again bit sparse.

We regularly use Premier Inns when going away for the night or a few days and had stayed at Burgess Hill PI 3 years ago pre pandemic. On this occasion and previously it was a place for the night and to relax following an open air concert at Hove 1st Central cricket ground. Michael Buble 2 years late (and Rod Stewart previously)
On arrival the receptionist was not particularly helpful or friendly, just doing a job . The girls the next day were better and greeted us as we went to breakfast
The price was three time higher on this trip making it an expensive stay and whilst I understand everything has increased in price this seemed excessive.the hotel is not central and was a 10 mile taxi ride into Hove which we knew and had catered for but other than being close to Gatwick there is little else in the area.
We had initially booked in 2020 at a much cheaper rate and on a Friday night until the concert and life was cancelled . The new concert date was a Thursday so possibly a less busy day to stay
We visited the Jack and Jill Windmills in Clayton on the next morning trying to find some where to have a short walk and get some fresh air. There were beautiful views across the South Downs , very peaceful but the Jill mill only opens on a Sunday afternoon and this was a Friday so we couldn't do more than look albeit a very beautiful mill.
Despite the room being fairly quiet at the end of a corridor away from the car park the people upstairs were noisy from 11.30pm for a good hour but we accepted this ..however the worst thing was the bed and hypnos mattress which had obviously seen better days. It sank in the middle every time we moved and I had a terrible nights sleep of about 3 hours hanging onto the very edge of the bed to avoid falling into the middle.
We regularly use Premier Inn because they have been reasonably priced affordable and fairly good quality hotels and the beds are generally very comfortable after all this is the main advertising slogan!
I have complained to PI online as i wasn't able to speak with anyone at reception on checkout with both girls busy , it will be interesting to hear back but 7 days on I have still not had anything.

Sited in an industrial estate one mile west of Burgess Hill. Easy access by road from A23, railway station in centre of town having trains to London and Brighton. The hotel shared its location with a Beefeater restaurant, from where the scent of hot beef fat wafts over the car park.
We found the room too hot for comfortable sleeping. The air-conditioning control panel is incomprehensible.

Great hotel, had a very good night's rest here. The hotel is a genuine 2 minute walk from a Tesco if you wanted to get some snacks, or toiletries quickly and very convenient. It's only about a 20 minute drive away from main Brighton and great price compared to Brighton that's a bit louder and more expensive to be right in the heart.
Staff was great, kind and respectful and all covid procedures were followed and I felt safe here! We will definitely be coming back here when we do a trip back to Sussex, super pleased with the hotel!

I always favour Premier Inns due to the comfortable beds, spotless rooms, blackout curtains and reasonably priced good quality breakfast. This hotel didn't disappoint. Slept like a log. Nice restaurant. I liked that you can now order again from the hot menu (it was self serve in October) which comes to your table as it's then nice and freshly cooked. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Definitely would visit again. Would just like marmalade available for my toast as I had to settle for blackcurrant jam!

We were served by LUIGI and KATIE
The attention to detail for us was out of this world , I travel the country with my niece and daughter due to their baton twirling careers . My niece has a lot of food allergies some life threatening. Luigi made us feel at ease , Katie made a note of the allergy’s . When bringing our food out Luigi came first and told us Katie would follow with only Indi’s meal after washing her hands to ensure safety and no contamination. This blew our minds as never had this level of care before .
Thank you for making us feel like a priority ❤️

Premier Inns are basic type hotels, so do not have anything like a microwave in their rooms, They just have a kettle & mugs for making coffee from powder, tea bags and chocolate powder. There main advantage is their reasonable standard (but basic) and clean rooms with comfortable beds. The Burgess Hill one is in a quiet area, it is connected to a Beef Eater Restaurant where you have breakfast or order lunch or dinner.
