The room was clean and the bathroom modern. The décor/layout was 1970's but as it was clean that's what mattered to me. The service was good and staff were helpful. Breakfast was VERY continental and although a little basic it offered a good choice with no limit on how much you can eat. For the facilities it is a little... More

Stayed for a couple nights at this lovely little hotel in the centre of Albert. Although my friend and I didn't use the restaurant we heard good things. We did make use of the breakfast which was good value even with poor exchange rate. Rooms were well furnished and very clean. The en suite was adequate but could be a... More

Ate here last week as part of a party of 8, we booked, and just as well, as it was busy for a Wednesday night, all 8 of us had good, well presented food, they have several menu options, as well as A'la Carte. Portion size was good, and the selection of veg included, was fresh and tasty. There is... More

I stayed here with my Father-In-Law for 3 nights. It is in a great position being in the main square in Albert opposite the Basilica with okay bars/cafes in close proximity. Check-in was easy and the evening meal was fantastic. Albert is ideal for visiting the Somme as it is less than 15 minutes to most sites. Altogether a great... More

We stayed just one night for a quick visit to the Somme area, based on the review that suggested high quality food and service.. This we can fully endorse. Our evening meal was superb, the range of choice was excellent and we can recommend the menu featuring local specialities. The service was prompt, cheerful and helpful. Very good value for... More

My husband discovered this gem of a restaurant last year and hankered to return. We booked as soon as we arrived in Albert- thank goodness - to delay is to miss out! The food is excellent delivered with crisp unpretentious service and fantastic value. Can't wait to return.

This was our fourth visit to this small hotel right in the centre of Albert. Some recent refurbishment has made the hotel even more comfortable with good size and well equipped rooms. A hospitality tray is welcome and a rarity in French hotels. Our bathroom had a wall mounted hairdryer and a shaver socket as well as a British three... More

We had an amazing lunch with friends st this restaurant. We were welcomed by the staff, who were very helpful with the menu. The atmosphere was good and the restaurant was full, so it's a good idea to book. Some of us had lamb and some had scallops and gambas, all of which were excellent. Deserts were good too. Would... Visited Albert a couple of years ago when taking friends around the Somme battlefields, visited the extremely interesting museum in the town and looked for a Resturant afterwards at lunch time. A great meal , so always said must return, this we did last night and the meal was even better then remembered. Sorry we are not nearer to be... More

Central location, clean well decorated rooms, excellent meal in restaurant. Good continental breakfast. Really enjoyed our stay, parking could be a problem but we were lucky and parked outside the hotel.
