It is a beautiful village, and the hotel is situated in a great spot, near the old bridge next to the river. The welcoming was joyous, we got the key to our room (with terrace facing the river, mind you), and passed some giggling chambermaids....More
Beaut hotel in a very scenic spot, with generous rooms, but traffic noise that threatens your sleep.
Wifi not great, meals good.
Swimming pool pleasant when you're hot and bothered.
Staff are also very good and the view from the bar takes some beating.

We entered the Hotel through the front door, and a breeze toppled the chicken wire on a small pedestal mounted display of plastic items.
This appeared to traumatise the receptionist who immediatley attempted to put the display right, scowling at us in the process.
