Spotless, warm & inviting, great value for money. Great location for a wedding we attended in Hellingly, East Sussex. The bed was very comfortable, the room a good size, everything worked. Overall much better than many hotels (which are a lot more expensive) in the Eastbourne district.

Large comfy room and comfortable beds. Very clean. Excellent staff - very helpful. Good quiet location. Very clean rooms. Easy online booking. The wi-fi can be hit and miss and a little slow at times.

Used as a weekend base visiting family. Basic amenities. Ideal location but entrance near very busy roundabout, easy to turn left but not to get out to get back into Eastbourne. Car park also covers a Starbucks cafe and appears to be a local hotspot to stop off to eat take away food bought by the wrappers in the car...

Very clean and tidy with the up-to-date new decor . Staff friendly and helpful as always. Only downside was litter in the car park and surrounds which probably outside Travelodge control. Entrance signage could be clearer.

Excellent service from staff who were welcoming and very efficient. The car parking is excellent and the hotel is clean and well run. The only slight downside is the proximity to the all night garage which does, as you would expect, create some noise. My room was directly opposite so it is possible that, in other rooms, this would not...

Stayed here whilst working in the area. Well located and plenty of parking. Next to a garage so convenient for fuel and snacks. Although it's next to the road it's very quiet and added to the usual travelodge quality it was a great experience. Highly recommended. Staff very friendly and attentive.

The location of this Travelodge is relatively close for access to Eastbourne but has no restaurant next door so you need to go further afield to find a meal, possibly to the carvery across the road. When we arrived the receptionist was friendly and helpful. However, when we opened the door to our room we immediately noticed a strong unpleasant...

We’re sorry to hear that you found our pull out beds to be uncomfortable. After extensive customer trials and research, these beds were selected as being the best fit for our family rooms and once again we would like to apologise this was not the case on this occasion. Following our guests feedback, we are pleased to confirm that the...

it is convenient to stay as it is close to a petrol station and is not that far to Eastbourne by car. I would say to stay at this travel lodge you need to have a car as I did not see any buses going to the travel lodge. The staff was friendly and it was well maintained

Over all the years the Travelodge brand has been around in the UK it has had its lumps and bumps. Last year's aggressive overhaul of the properties, promoted with an insipid commercial involving puppets and a cheesy tune showed you exactly what you'd get; a bed...and not too much else! But that's okay. If it's a clean bed and a...
