Sovana is the most beautiful city and best preserved between Pitigliano and Sorano. The Relais is very good. Very pleasant stay and probably this is the best hotel you can find here. No internet and no fitness room.

“Ask for a second floor room overlooking the gardens. This little town is perfect to use as "home base" while you explore nearby Etruscan tombs, visit Agritourismo lunches/dinners and Pitigliano--a larger medieval city. Italians like flat pillows, so bring your own if you need to.”
