We spent here the first three nights of our two weeks trip to Sicily. We felt it as the welcome of the region. With a car we could easily visit mount Etna, swim in beautiful sea (Scogli dei Ciclopi), enjoy Catania nightlife and discover wine valley of Castiglione. Taormina is nearby too. It is also a lovely place to rest...

We stayed in a spacious well equipped apartment with large terraces all round for the famous glass of Etna wine, overlooking the lemon groves, the gorgeous swimming pool, views to the sea in one direction and Mount Etna in the other. Our hosts and their family could not have been friendlier, and the breakfast is extensive with homemade cakes, breads,...

We visited this beautiful orange and lemon farm in the week before Easter. The family running it were lovely and helpful, always giving us advice about our day trips. They had delicious jams made at the property and fresh bread for breakfast every day and on the nights we ate there the food was really good. The property itself is...

This is a wonderful place. The accommodation was perfect, the food delicious and the hosts were so inviting and welcoming, it made our week perfect. We flew all night from Toronto, and we're welcomed with a beautiful spot and a delicious dinner. I can't recommend this spot enough. The host, his wife, his daughters, the cats, Lucy, the dog, made...

We could not recommend this agriturismo more highly. Though close to town, you are immediately transported into rural tranquility and the only sounds we heard were of chickens, sheep and cows. The room we had - which came with a wonderful kitchen - was tastily decorated with lovely antique furniture and managed to combine the charm of days gone by...

Very nice agriturismo. Great hosts. Excellent food! We stayed in this agriturismo for one week and had a great stay. The rooms are quite nice and the view on the Etna and the coast is great. We enjoyed some excellent diners, five or sometimes six courses, and drank delicious Limoncello (home made) There is not much to do in the...

Never having stayed anywhere like this before, we thought it would be nice to visit a relaxing agriturismo during our honeymoon. I am very picky with living conditions but San Leonardello had so many glowing reviews that I felt comfortable booking - and I am really happy I did! It was such an incredible and authentic experience. The highlight of...

We spent 6 days here and thoroughly enjoyed our time. Arriving from London, it took 24 hours to adapt to the pace of life on the farm but was worth the transition. The family specialises in Lemons and their trees are everywhere - they create a calming atmosphere enjoyed by all. The facilities are really first class, and we loved...

This year was our third visit to San Leonardello with our now three-years old. We were there before as a couple and with our child. The place is run by a most friendly and charming family; they offer half-board with excellent typical sicilian food, and the Calabretta family makes you feel at home. The rooms are nice and clean. The...
