My partner and I were in Ystad for my relatives 90th birthday. I chose this B&B as it was within walking distance to the shops, etc. and within walking distance from the train station. I wasn't sure what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised at what a lovely place this was. It has that "oldy worldy" charm. The lady...

May not look to prepossessing outside but the converted cow barn goes back and back. Large vine covered area for sitting with a coffee tea and cake. Outside seating with tables for good weather. Good selection of ladies clothing not found commonly. Plus other bits and pieces. Can handle numbers easily. Just up from the beach at Loderupstand.

We stayed for 2 nights, in the annexe room across the courtyard. Check-in details sent by friendly text and we let ourselves into room with no problems. Room was large, with hall, bathroom, comfortable bed, and seating area with spare bed/settee. Breakfast was very relaxed, with choice of eating in courtyard or in prettily furnished breakfast room. Staff were on...

We arrived to the ferry just to realize that the ferries that day were all cancelled to Bornholm. So we decided to stay in Ystad and take the first ferry in the morning. We stayed in Backagarden, which is a nice, clean little hostel with eight rooms. The hosts are very nice, it's charming, small, nice. The hosts will do...

We were looking for a place to have lunch and by chance stopped here. It turned out to be a good choice, we had the best shrimp sandwich ever for lunch. The taste, mix of sallad, avocado and a large amount of excellent shrimps made it just melt in our mouths. Finishing off with a sweet afterwards and happy we...

Not the absolute cheapest in this expensive country, but excellent position, just behind the Tourist Office, a stone's throw from the station for trains and buses. Also near a really useful 8am-10pm mini-market shop, which we used for snacks and essentials, and later spotted in a Wallander episode. There's a surprise! Quiet location, good breakfast, owner is friendly and from...

This B & B was very pleasant with a good sized room and good breakfast. It was very central in Ystad. The room was a bit funky but we enjoyed it. It enabled us to get to most of the Wallander sites without a car. The town itself is very cute with good restaurants, churches and gardens.
