What can I say. Warm and friendly welcome. Lovely house, clean rooms, warm and homely feel. Amanda was very helpful to us and all guests staying. Breakfast was lovely. Delivered what we wanted. A nice quiet get away, well located for exploring. My one and only niggle was a loud telly on a couple of occasions. But then it's someones...

Myself and a friend stayed at the Woodlands Guest House in late August. Upon arrival no one was in so we let ourselves in and found our room. Our first encounter with Amanda was of her very abruptly telling us we had parked wrong and broken her paver. She is very rude, speaks down to you like a dog and...

We stayed at the Woodlands for 2 nights in September. Amanda was extremely helpful and a great host. She even booked us in to a local pub for Sunday roast which was fantastic. At Woodlands our room was clean tidy and had all we needed. The breakfast full english was really well cooked there was fresh fruit salad available along...

From start to finish Amanda could not have been more helpful. B&B central to touring surrounding area. We enjoyed visiting Stow, Burford, Broadway and Witney. Our room (a twin) was clean and comfortable and overlooked the garden. We had a large bathroom too which was nice. Breakfast was fantastic, plenty of choice and delicious. All in all a very enjoyable...

I had booked two rooms for one night three months previously on booking.com. Son and partner were over from Australia, and on a month's tour, so I had chosen the place for location and price. We arrived to discover there was only one room available for us. The lady was defensive and irrational from the word go, no apology was...

After reading recent reviews I had concerns... But with a cancellation fee that is 100% of the booking cost wasn't about to cancel. Sat Nav delivered us straight to the house without issue. Front door easily seen from the car park turned out to be the private entrance to the utility room (I suggest a sign directing guests around to...

My husband chose this guest house for a belated wedding anniversary present. It is a quaint little place, rooms are comfortable with a cottagey feel, not for you if you want modern and contemporary. Amanda was lovely, we only stayed for one night, the breakfast was fab, although had to sit at table with four other guests who we didn't...

This lovely guest house is 1 mile from Stow. It is excellent as a quiet and beautiful place to stay in the Cotswolds. Hostess Amanda does a terrific job, now working solo. One needs a car to get around in this area, and driving on rural roads is not easy, but being out in the country is well worthwhile. I...

The house itself was good. The service was poor. The host rude especially the man. The lady was o.k. Not very helpful they virtually threw people out of the door to go and walk the dogs before it gets too hot. Thank you, not planning to go there again. Change your attitude towards your customer. The breakfast was good.

We were a party of 4, with two rooms and stayed for 5 nights to explore the area, and the location of Woodlands was perfect, with all attractions within a beautiful short drive. A field of sheep across the road a Vixen and her cubs a short distance away English Countryside at it's best. Rob and Amanda are only too...
