My daughter and I called in today for the 2 course lunch on offer at £12.99. We were shown into the newly built Orangery with its views over the lake and grounds, we enjoyed watching the ducks and peacocks! My daughter ordered the chicken kebabs which came with tsatsiki, olives and feta and chunky chips, I had the cod in...

A fantastic, relaxed and beautiful venue that we cannot rate highly enough! The absolutely stunning grounds which have been made even more beautiful with the addition of the orangerie, proved the perfect venue for our wedding. Our wedding planner, Amy, is absolutely phenomenal, her attention to detail is second to none and she looked after every single guest beautifully. Despite...

Booked In for lunch and we were seated in the new orangery with lovely views of the lake and surround. We took the choice of main meal with a desert. I had the mixed grill, amazing value, steak, sausage, gammon with lamb chop and pork chop and a salad with mushrooms and chips. Very well cooked and tasted great, Viv...

I held my 40th Birthday Ball last week at the Hornsbury Mill and it was simply fantastic from start to finish! I had a very specific idea of what I wanted and Rachel, the events coordinator, worked closely with me over the months of planning to create what has to be a night that I will never, ever forget. It...

We visited this hotel last weekend for a 40th birthday celebration with our three children. The location is lovely and it would be beautiful by the lake when the sun is shining! It was lovely to see peacocks roaming around the grounds. The function room was spacious and the bar easily accessible. The food exceeded our expectations. The portion sizes...

We decided on Mothering Sunday morning to go out for lunch, but where, at such short notice?!. Although we had driven past Hornsbury Mill many times, we had never been there for a meal so rang to see if they had room for us. Even though they were fully booked they said they would squeeze us in. How glad we...

We stayed here as a family in a downstairs bedroom. The hotel had made up two foldaway beds for the kids. Room was simple but comfortable and spotlessly clean. We ate at the restaurant in the evening and the food was really lovely! The gardens looked lovely although there is building work currently taking place.. But when that's finished, I'm...
